You could try changing the game mode in the "\steamapps\common\Subnautica\SNAppData\SavedGames\slot0000\gameinfo.json" file inside your save folder, check the screenshot.jpg to see which "slotxxxx" folder you need. Open it with not… -

Pretty sure the figuring out how to get Subnautica to run properly on a technical level on PS4 (and Xbone) was the biggest task. Here's to assuming the DLC can use that development to skip this process... -

You can foward/side/up/down/backward glide, while looking in any direction, it's a multi directional vehicle. So technically don't we already have a "freelook"?
