I heard that they may put a newborn Ghost in the Tree Cove and it will be passive.

When you bake the terrain into a single piece of geometry, would having the collision detection turned on for the entire thing no matter where fix it? -

Let me count the ways the Ghost Leviathan can work fine in the Lost River.
1. There's only three chambers it would work in: Bones Field, Junction, and Ghost Forest. All three are large enough to comfortably accomodate a… -

Huh, wonder why they shrank the Sea Dragon. -
Nah, that's a bad idea. Going through all the trouble to get it done before the game launches just to put it where few people will go is dumb and a waste. Shrink it down a little so it's larger than the Reaper but smaller than the Sea Dragon, tweak …

The Reaper Leviathan can move around fine in the larger Lost River rooms, I don't see how they can't make the Ghost Leviathan do the same. Scale it down a little to between the Reaper and Sea Dragon and it should be able to maneuver with minimal pro…

Now that the Ghost Leviathan is almost finished, hopefully they can turn some attention to the Rock Puncher soon.

They've already done a bit of work on it, be silly to let it go to waste especially with such an easy way to have it in. -

Nah, terraformer only caused pain and havoc. -
Any news about our crustacean friend?

Considering it's already pretty translucent and will be in a biome with spooky green water, the Phantom Leviathan doesn't need a cloaking ability to be hard to see.

I'm more concerned with the problem of Survivor moving at a snail's pace around and inside some wrecks like gravity or water density just shot up and he's trying to swim through oatmeal. I've drowned several times because of it, not even using the S…

This. This is an excellent suggestion. Take one of the large resource deposit models, scale it up a little bit, change its texture to something rocky, and have it be breakable by the Rock Puncher and release some Rockgrubs that the… -
What could be done is have some of the rocks that the Floaters attach to laying around the biome and the Rock Puncher can knock them around.

If your base is in/part of anything when a new update comes out, the only thing you can do is restart your save.
-
Using bones as tools and weapons is a bit silly, especially since the Rock Puncher doesn't have a way to hold things. And the way the Lost River is set up is a nightmare for a bottom-dwelling animal.
The Crag Field would be a much better… -

The Sparse Reef still exists, it's to the west of the Crag Field. -

That would still require having everything that causes the majority of slowdown, crashing, and other problems that terraforming caused, even if it's only in that one area. Honestly the Rock Puncher can work fine without terrain def… -

They changed their minds about closing off that path. Honestly at the moment the devs are flip-flopping all over the place about a lot of things, it's hard to know what's actually happening most of the time. -

Still would have been cool to have him in. Make a new model for him that fits in Subnautica better, make the huge spikes part of his mandibles that it uses to defend itself (and scale them down a little but still have them big) and… -

I really hope not, that would be a waste. The various Lost River areas are large enough to easily accommodate the Phantom Leviathan if it's around the same size as the Reaper and its movement speed was made half that of the Reaper.… -
I just had this happen, too, except this one just spontaneously appeared 100m away from my lifepod after I went inside the Aurora. Didn't encounter any Reapers outside it going to or back from.

Maybe not envelop the PRAWN completely in its mouth, then, but just pull it in and give it a chomp that damages and pushes the suit away, and same for the Seamoth. As for its physiology it can have tough skin and the flesh/fluid/wh… -

It doesn't really need anything fancy or weird as an attack. Physically ramming things and using suction to pull in prey works fine. And there will be times you'd need to exit your vehicles to do things which would leave you vulner… -

Open its mouth wide and suck you in if you're in a certain range of its mouth. -
Either the Grassy Plateaus or the Dunes would be good for the Rock Puncher to roam. Make it a Defensive creature that will punch at anything that gets too close but doesn't actively chase and attack things. For environmental interaction it could occ…

says, the Reaper setup or a modified version would work fine. The best way to do it would be to make all of its movements 50% or so slower than the Reaper's, so it would glide through the water at a more sedate pace, as fitting a c…
