Actually the observatory isn't too small. If you connect hallways on all sides, it actually looks like the observatory fits perfectly into the grid system and looks like it should be connected to all of the tubes, but only the last… -
If you are interested in a building a computer in bases, please check out my discussion page: forums.unknownworlds.com/discussion/1…

I have seen screenshots of the game earlier on in its development and I think it used to have more slots than 5. It seems the devs decided to lower it for some reason.

The tie in to the crafting pool is a cool idea. I really liked that idea when I read the discussion earlier and it would be awesome if the computer could integrate with the crafting pool. The shopping list would work well with the map room. I beli…

(Quote) The reason I was thinking of female only is because the devs already have a female voice. I am assuming that the voice is from a voice actor. If they allowed a male voice option, then they would have to hire another voice actor for that…

Modern rubber is actually made from tree sap. It isn't far-fetched to think that a plant on a different planet might have the same capabilities. If the word "silicone" in the name of the item "silicone rubber" bothers you that mu… -
Alright, thx

I have looked on trello, but I can't seem to find where they are working on the monitors you mentioned.

The story so far is that the Aurora was hit by a mysterious energy beam that caused it to crash. Chances are it was caused by past survivors of a crash. My theory is based on the abandon seabases and a PDA log entry found in one such base. The ent…

A seamoth basically functions as the cyclops escape pod being that the cyclops can house it. In dire emergencies, just jump in the seamoth and escape from whatever was attacking you.

Actually, it helps balance out how an excessive amount of quartz that was used before in almost any item. It is more balanced resource-use distribution this way.
Edit: I meant that the way it is at the moment is balanced. Sorry about my… -
Devs already have making an incinerator for unwanted items on their ToDo List.
-
Definitely a great idea, especially when they put crafting multiple items at once in. I do believe crafting multiple items is already in the works.
-
The one thing about stalkers grabbing the seamoth is that the seamoth is a decent size bigger than them, and probably a good deal heavier and more powerful thrust. I just don't see them being able to shake the seamoth around. Now, the sand sharks …

He was probably being sarcastic. At least, that's the vibe I got.

About the saves; this is an open world survival game. There need to be consequences for you dying. There is no point in it being survival if you just reload a past save. Also the no stacking thing is deliberate because the game is already pushing …

You have 3.5k views within 5 hours of posting with no comments whatsoever, which means you are probably using a bot to view your page over and over again. Your idea is some what interesting, although it would take a while for the devs to get around…

Did not know that. Thank you for informing me.

The problem with that is voice acting. If the devs made a list of ones you could choose from that would work.
-
Its totally ok dude. I just wanted to point you in the right direction where you could contribute to the already occurring conversation.

I think the sorting is good for what it is, but I wouldn't be opposed to a way to turn it off if that were my preference. Especially if other people are bothered by it, they might as well do something pretty simple that lets people do what they wan…

I also like your idea of limiting the seamoth to specific tiers so that the seamoth has its specific uses for mid-range depth, and the exosuit is good for extreme depths where the player should actually be taking damage from pressure.
-
That is a pretty good spin on things. The one thing I have to say is if you make a better seamoth, you still have your old low-tech one hanging around. That is why I was thinking the moonpool welder arms (my other idea on this thread) could comple…
-
I think currently you can't use a welder on a docked seamoth in a moonpool. You have to deploy it, then get out and weld it currently which is a bit of a pain.

If they do multiplayer, they need to limit it to very few people on a server to preserve the small person, big world feel. It would be more like a small rag-tag group trying to stick together to survive.

How about S.E.N.P.A.I. as Sentient Exoplanetery Nautical Personal Artificial Intelligence?

If this is science fiction, then we shouldn't even need to micromanage the bioreactor. It could contain some micro-organisms that filter-feed off of other micro-organisms in the water and are genetically engineered, by the player, to produce a type…

Interesting mechanic. Bases could do that too with their doors. Would be more suited for multiplayer though since it is more likely that a player will try to escape whatever is sinking the ship, creature or deep pressure, before closing off doors. …

The problem with slowing down the player speed is you are a lot more likely to drown while exploring the new big wrecks because those things are maze like. I attempted to explore them and I kept having to make repeatative trips back to my seamoth s…

I posted something like this just a few days ago. It is just a bit farther down the page. I agree with you but please look for similar threads before posting new discussions.
