Floater Island currently has very little in the way of resources/materials/etc. this is just speculation, but if any location in the game is due for some major updates, it would be Floater Island.

I've found a workaround for my crosshair disappearing, so I can continue to experiement with the '-force-d3d9' start condition.

For 'extended testing' purposes I have fashioned a makeshift reticle out of a sliver of masking tape(minimal adhesive variety) which I carefully placed on my monitor's centre point... xP
