Oh, thank you. I guess I'm just lost.

(Quote) I've never actually used the scanner room since I heard it had really low range, and it also requires a ton of computer chips. 2 to actually build it, up to 4 for the range upgrades, another for the HUD upgrade, however many more for extr…

Selecting specific cells to not reset is not necessary anymore as base-building terraforming was removed, but the "Clean Cache" button is greyed out until you select at least one cell to not reset.

Edit: I managed to scrounge up enough silver from the kelp forest to get a pressure compensator mk3 and headed down to the inactive lava zone. The only large resource deposits I could find down there were kyanite. Some sandstone, i… -
Okay, this is a bit of a longshot, but. You could breed a crashfish, load it into a propulsion cannon with F, then fire it at the sand blocking the deconstruction. I've noticed that even though terraforming has supposedly been removed, crashfish exp…

The wiki lies. I've spend the last hour searching, and there is not a speck of silver in the jellyshroom caves. I can't get to the inactive lava zone to check if there's any there because I don't have the upgraded pressure compensators. I don't have…

I could have mixed them up, yes. I've never encountered a large lead node before this update, so I assumed they didn't exist. I'll go see if I can find a large silver node elsewhere.

It looks like the Moonpool has multiple leaks. I've never tried deconstructing a leaking base part, so I don't know if that prevents deconstruction. Did you try fixing the leaks before deconstructing it?
This might seem a bit obvious, but you … -
(Quote) I share that hope. If a game doesn't have a way to adjust the FOV through an in-game menu, it's not a complete game IMO. Subnautica is still in development, but I feel very strongly that easily adjustable FOV is a requirement for any fini…

It's a FOV issue. If the FOV was something reasonable, like 90, instead of the incredibly zoomed-in 60 that it is, you'd have a much better sense of how large things really are. Right now it's like you're looking at everything through a pair of bino…

(Quote) So you enjoy freemium waiting games, and you want Subnautica to be more like a freemium waiting game.

I'm pretty sure that's an insult.
Even assuming you can do that stuff within 4 minutes, either you would have done it anyway after you crafted the item, or you don't actually need to do that stuff and are just doing it … -

I haven't insulted anyone. You, on the other hand, have called multiple people childish.
Firstly, the crafting timers are far too short to actually go play the game. After you've cleared out the general area around your… -

What about the time you spent gathering the materials or searching for the blueprints? Does that time not count because you spent it actually playing the game instead of being alt-tabbed or staring at a progress bar? -
(Quote) I find your word choice here very telling. "Those who don't mind tedium can have it". You don't mind tedium. You did not say enjoy. You don't enjoy it, you just don't mind it.
If that's what you think about additional t… -
I don't appreciate games wasting my time. If this change sticks around, I'm just going to stop playing Subnautica.
