Four manufacturers have signed up to support G-Sync (ASUS, BenQ, Phillips, and ViewSonic). I think I remember reading that some of them will become available early next year.

Speculation. Given the low-level nature of the API, I am doubtful.
Also, here's a tweet from Robert Hallock (PR for Radeon & Gaming @ AMD) in response to the question "Is Mantle open source?":

It's no different from AMD Mantle, which is only compatible with their Graphics Core Next (GCN) based products. -

Being able to locate and track a skulk with your headset would certainly be sweet! I'm very enthusiastic about 3D audio (especially for headphones) and I'd love to see more game developers implementing technologies that provide 3D … -
Thanks. That fixed the problem. I can start and join servers now.
That said, the game crashes a hell of a lot. I've had it crash upon spawning into the ready room as well as upon firing a weapon for the first time (and this was just duri… -

I can confirm that. I made no changes to any driver settings and I get shadow flickering and lower-than-DX9 performance with my GTX 690 in DX11 mode using 331.40 beta drivers.

There's space for two icons there. Settle for nothing less. :P

(Quote) Can you elaborate on "broken"? What are the symptoms of the problem?

In that case, perhaps you've got a slightly different issue to the one that I discovered earlier with quadrophonic mode.

@jolonne5, I can reproduce your issue. At least, I think I can because you didn't really describe the problem other than saying that it was "broken".

IMO, the new shadow skulk is pretty close to the limit for cosmetics that could be applied to the aliens. I don't like the idea of all the aliens having overtly different skin patterns because I feel like it would detract from the … -

@Exoskelett, are you guesstimating those numbers or do you have a method to accurately measure input delay? This also had no perceptible impact on input latency. However, I was surprised to note that it prevented a strange frame rate anomaly that I described in my thread here:

I only used the FRAPS and Afterburner overlays for testing and diagnostics after previously observing the issue without any overlays activated (other than the Steam overlay, of course).I also discovered a bug on the new Docking. In Maintenance, one of the wall props disappears if you orient your view so that you're look directly at the wall.

I find NS2's graphics very enjoyable and aesthetically pleasing. The graphics are also technically excellent. To me, they're a defining feature of the game's visual style and I'm sure there are also some rare cases where you might see an enemy's shadow before they come into view, giving you a tiny advantage.
