well i always level, but it depends on how many planets you have and what level they are, if u have like alevel 3 rob fact , might wanta sell it but i fyou have level like 10 use it (i would actually put it on gal cyber personally)
general rule: use an SU unless you absolutely have to have money or it costs more than the pp needed to raise it to the next level. (and don't pump up robo's too far, that's a newb strat).

I don't know how much further up it will go, I'm willing to bet that people will keep doing the SU -> cybernet thing until long after it becomes unprofitable. I ended up destroying the fleet of transports designed to reduce my player level. They were sent too late to me - or atleast I thought they were.....
I hope someone can answer this for me:>
The transports were sent to me very late - a delay of 12 hours from them actually reading the request. The fleet flight time to my planets was 22, 23 and 24 hours.
Yesterday my actual score was listed as 209 but I calculated it as 211 - which after the trade update it became 211 which is what it currently is listed as.
Some of my planets have increased population in this time by another 9 and science by 1 so my actual score will be 221 at the update.
Does this mean I could have let the transports kill 17 pop and I could have been invited again with a player level below 200?
or
would my player level not have been updated until the trade update - inwhich case -17 pop would have still left me above the 200 point cut off.
don't do it! it's too late now. afaik, the update has nothing to do with joining an alliance, only creating one. if you have less than 200 points, you can join any alliance you see fit. (>5 player level required)
Zigg is just a figurehead leader, he had the most money to form the alliance at the time, so that's why he's the 'leader'. Instead of bugging him or posting here you should have:
PMed one of the leaders, me or Stakhanov Dropped by the TSA AW channel and talk to us, we're there most of the time
Beside, we stopped inviting two days except for slashburn's special case.

In other news, I bet SU's will break 1k A$ soon. That's pretty amazing. I don't know how much further up it will go, I'm willing to bet that people will keep doing the SU -> cybernet thing until long after it becomes unprofitable. I dunno if my allies are doing anything sneaky like plotting a backstab against me. I doubt it; there are plenty of free planets around for the taking...plus, Stakhanov and Gabbs are nearby. Sort of.

i lost my retainer fleet combat... oh well, only 3 battle ships and 26 destroyers, at least it wasnt my entire fleet.

I hope someone can answer this for me:>
The transports were sent to me very late - a delay of 12 hours from them actually reading the request. The fleet flight time to my planets was 22, 23 and 24 hours.
Yesterday my actual score was listed as 209 but I calculated it as 211 - which after the trade update it became 211 which is what it currently is listed as.
Some of my planets have increased population in this time by another 9 and science by 1 so my actual score will be 221 at the update.
Does this mean I could have let the transports kill 17 pop and I could have been invited again with a player level below 200?
or
would my player level not have been updated until the trade update - inwhich case -17 pop would have still left me above the 200 point cut off.
I'm confused.

afaik, the update has nothing to do with joining an alliance, only creating one. if you have less than 200 points, you can join any alliance you see fit. (>5 player level required)
