Forrest Gump (I know its not a vietnam movie, but if I don't list it here somebody will post it) :P

[edit] In any case, I haven't seen Green Dragon yet, but I hear it's good.
None but the mentioned ones come to mind.
it's about a US training camp. has colin farrel in a <b>good</b> role, for once. he can act if he tries.
very good movie, should be at blockbuster. that's where i found it.
edit: <a href='http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0170691/' target='_blank'>IMDB for tigerland</a>

Hamburger Hill
This one is also a classic to my knowledge
If you're into those kinds of movies, then it's really worth it to pay the US$90+ price tag. I bought it mainly as an impulse buy after hearing my friend rant on and on about how great it was (<i>and it turns out he never even saw it</i>), but it's one of the best DVD purchases I've made. I've really only watched it once, but the series was just so well done and so powerful that I can still remember a <i>lot</i> of the better scenes.
In fact, I've got Sunday off. I expect I'll be stretched out on the couch for the better part of ten hours that day. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->
I just watched We Were Soldiers, its a good flick. Kinda the Saving Private Ryan of Vietnam in that "war is horrible" sense.
Damn, one more DVD I gotta buy...
One of them has to be set in Vietnam.
And the Normandy Beach scene in Saving Private Ryan is top notch war action at it's best.

The Band Of Brothers series was pretty long. Every episode was an 1+ hour, and there was quite a bit of them as well.

They used to show it all the time on TNT, but now you can only get it on VHS/DVD, but it's definately worth the price.
