<div class="IPBDescription">Grrrr</div> Ok, I am sick with the ONOS. I get sick of joining games where 5 mins into the game, 70% of the alines are ONOS. IMHO there should be 2 ONOS max for aliens, and at least 2-3 HA/JP's for marines. IMO that would balance it out a little more, and hopefully make games last alot longer.

in order to kill things in a game with over 10 players ailens Need more than 2 onoses, or the or things wont be prettylike, the same goes for specal marines.
the game time is good now, you dont want a day long game do you?
for me, 1/2hr games are good, maybe thats an idea for co, seeing thats 5 seconds most of the time.
If the aliens get lots of onii, then the marines were probably camping.

Forgot to mention this, but I was aiming at small people games....like with 4-6 ppl. 2 onos's for 6 ppl, 4 for 8, 5-6 for 10 and 7 for anything higher than that.

Regardless, if the server you play on has consistant games like that, I'd recommend finding a new server.
Depending on the size of the game, if most of the aliens save up and go onos the marines should be winning. tbh, ive seen worse. Ive played games where there have been aliens doing nothing, they have like 90-100 res and they still run around as skulk dieing. Well on a small game its hard for marines to win anyway, u can get onos really quick in a small game and chances are ur gonner need ur whole marine team just to kill that one. Then he goes onos again.
To me that is like the major inbalance in NS. With large games its easy for marines to win with small games its easy for aliens to win, most ppl know that. They could alter the resource system so that the game is relativly fair for both sides in large, medium and small games.

That would be like saying, "Okay, HAs with GLs are waaay to powerful. Two per game, only."
You can't just decide to restrict the most powerful weapon on one side. And its not like their cheap; 75 res doesn't come quickly.
No, no, no, no, no, no, and no. Did I mention NO? The aliens are weak enough as it is and they don't NOT need another nerf. On top of that, the onos are ESSENTIAL to the victory of any good alien team in Combat and NS, and aliens will need more than 2.

He said he was talking about small games. Everyone can cap a node, and then still go onos in under 5 minutes because with a res node per person or more, they can easily do whatever they want. Marines on the other hand, have the same resflow in large or small games.
Basically the only way for marines to win small games like that is to either A. drop res towers or command chairs on the nodes near the aliens hive at the beginning to slow them down considerably, or B. send marines out with shotguns to do nothing but hunt alien nodes. Basically, the aliens have to suck, or have less nodes than they have people for the marines to win.
And indeed. 5 minute onos are STUPID.
If they die, and they will, kharaa have no hives, no high lifeforms and probably no RTs. It takes a very bad comm to lose after killing a 5 min onos.
