No no no! The idea is that the HA is slow! In fact, I'd advise taking the alternate route, and preventing the HA from moving at all! Of course, he can still shoot and use his eye lasers (another suggested addition). Have you ever heard of the game "Stuck in the Mud"? I think HA should only be allowed to move if a fellow marine "tags" the HA, giving him free movement until the commander makes him "it" again, thus rendering him stationary once more.

I actually like the thinking behind this one. I reckon a good idea would be to make at least one of them a "Covert Commander" that is capable of hiding in vents and coordinating the rest of the team (who should ideally also be incarcerated in Command Chairs; I don't like the idea of these pesky food soldiers, they really mess up the equation) from his position of extreme advantage(unless one of those Mini-onos comes along). Accompanied with norn's "CC on wheels" idea, this could really be a winner.

Whilst your reaoning here seems sound, there are a few flaws in the original design that I feel require attention and have not been adressed in your enhancements, namely that of range. I suggest that the skulk be given an abilty to remove it's teeth and spit them at marines. Naturally, they have a limited supply of teeth, and do not regain these until they die and respawn or visit a Gorge Dentist, which is a new class I feel needs to be introduced. I mean, Lerk spikes? They are clearly teeth, and there should be a limited supply! Let's get a bit more realistic, NS team!

I disagree quite wholeheartedly on this matter. I am convinced that the Onos is not toastily warmed, but is in fact a <i>bagel</i> with some mayonnaise and a slice of turkey (some salad as well if you like that sort of thing). What it clearly needs is a few tomatos, and you have a winner for sure. Come on Flayra, get down to that grocery store!

There should be a marine, let's call him the 'awesome guy' (modelled after me, of course) and he should be able to invent new things during the course of a round. Like make a bunch of commchairs with wheels/rockets and arm them almost to the point of the Popemobile. Or, he could create three different kinds of toxins to shoot at the aliens!
edit: and, I suck at CS, but mostly because dying is an integral part of my overall game strategy, and isn't really rewarded in CS.

Whilst your reaoning here seems sound, there are a few flaws in the original design that I feel require attention and have not been adressed in your enhancements, namely that of range. I suggest that the skulk be given an abilty to remove it's teeth and spit them at marines. Naturally, they have a limited supply of teeth, and do not regain these until they die and respawn or visit a Gorge Dentist, which is a new class I feel needs to be introduced. I mean, Lerk spikes? They are clearly teeth, and there should be a limited supply! Let's get a bit more realistic, NS team!

I disagree quite wholeheartedly on this matter. I am convinced that the Onos is not toastily warmed, but is in fact a <i>bagel</i> with some mayonnaise and a slice of turkey (some salad as well if you like that sort of thing). What it clearly needs is a few tomatos, and you have a winner for sure. Come on Flayra, get down to that grocery store!

There should be a marine, let's call him the 'awesome guy' (modelled after me, of course) and he should be able to invent new things during the course of a round. Like make a bunch of commchairs with wheels/rockets and arm them almost to the point of the Popemobile. Or, he could create three different kinds of toxins to shoot at the aliens!

and, I suck at CS, but mostly because dying is an integral part of my overall game strategy, and isn't really rewarded in CS.
