<div class="IPBDescription">+ help req</div> not quite finished yet, but i figured i'd check if anyone wanted it before i continued.
still have to finish the sight, and i'll probly mess around with the stock.
it was originally darkkiz's g36 for cs, so ill need someone to hack it up and get it into ns.

also the ejection port is on the wrong side

then you cant model/skin ^_^
i have this cool bizon i wana convert from firearms but assigning the hands to the bones are a complete pain in the arse, and the ejection port is on the other side and it looks really good (i converted to ns, but has firearms hands <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif' /><!--endemo-->)

your right i cant skin. and for the most part i like having the port on the correct side. but with stuff like my shotty (that you ragged on as the same <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->) I'd rather leave it where you can see, otherwise no real need in modeling it hmm?
cant you just switch the hand textures to ns hands? i looked at some models in hlmv and i know it uses multiple textures and all and usually the hands is its own texture. cant u switcht the firearms hands to ns?
i might be wrong, im not a modeller but i did notice that stuff in hlmv.

you could, yes, but it would take more than just switching textures, you see the mesh's might be off, you'd need to decompile it and edit the skinmesh
i just checked. uses about 4 different skins compaired to the 1 for the arms. no dice, would need the mesh edit'd
1. change reflex sight to green, change the texture on it to look like the LMG crosshair (a lot of people neglect this!)
2. no tac light
3. de-tilt (it's currently tilted about the Y axis, as if you were holding it "sideways")

Taclight is removed but I still dont like the aimpoint evet though its fixed. make it transparent or something.. or remove.

sorry if i sound like a perfectionist, but the G36 line of assault rifles and LSWs are my personal favourites, and deserve respect. there are enough sh*tty cs models around already, lets try to set a better standard.
edited because of evil censoring of a legit nomenclature term.
but is it just me or do the arms look a bit big/gun looks a bit small?
either way me likes.
