Hmmm...let me see here:

Fractured Spleen
Collapsed lung
Cathoder tube (think "drinking straw inserted into your bladder through a one way street")
massive internal bleeding
chest tube
nose tube
tube inserted near collarbone
and an addiction to morphine, all in one 11 day stay (6 in the intensive carre unit) of the hospital. How was this misfortune called upon me? I was being pulled behind an ATV on an innertube in the snow, and I hit a large mound of frozen dirt and due to centrificul force hit it HARD....

Ah, but wait, THAT is not my most painful experience

last year, a week before my 21st, I was sitting at my computer, minding my own damn business, when all of a sudden....KIDNEY STONE ATTACK!! Anything that makes you curl up in a fetal position on the ER waiting room floor begging for death because the pain is so unbearable that it feels like someone is stabbing your sides with a dull hot knife is pretty darn painful...but the morphine...oh the sweet morphine was heaven. To go from intense pain to absolute bliss in about a second is better than any feeling, even better than sex if I might add....I miss my morphine

This is a double shot for most painful physically and mentally I suppose. While I was in Ireland this summer, my dad, brother and I were down the road from Grandma's house at the pub one night and as we were leaving, one of the neighbors picked dad up to rush him home because grandma had fallen down the stairs. Well I ran after that car and the ambulance that had just showed up. To keep things short, they got Grandma into the ambulance, my mom rode with her and my dad followed in his car. My mom told me to clean up the mess as much as possible because people would hear the news tomorrow and be comming over and we didnt want them to get upset.

So I spent the night trying to blot up the pool of blood in the carpet that my grandma's split open head left at the bottom of the stairs. Needless to say I was pretty shook up over the whole thing. When I finished I couldn't sleep so I grabbed a lighter, held it lit for awhile to heat up the metal top and pressed it into the inside of my forearm until it cooled off (2nd degree burn). That didnt do the trick, so I heated it longer and pressed it into my other forearm until it cooled (3rd degree burn). Finally, looking for some more sensitive skin, I heated it for awhile again and stuck it into my chest, right under the pec muscle until it cooled (3rd degree).

Then I was able to go to sleep.

Yes, I'm in the military. I suffered the gutshot on a mission, I suffered the headshot due to a training accident.

If it got in my brain do you think I would be typing this? It hit me in the side of the head and was imbedded between my skull and my brain, and it's still there (luckily I drank a significant amount of milk as a child and as a result my bones are stronger than normal). It is literally a millimeter from my brain, and there are times when it lets me know that (headaches like you wouldn't believe).

Clearing out an abscess manually with a pair of blunt forceps is very painful.

No anesthetics. No proffesional tools. No help.

Thankfully it healed without any infection. But I have to say that it was one big ugly hole in my leg back then....not a pretty sight

If you wanted my most painful though.....it's falling down through 5 flights of stairs and landing headfirst. Thankfully I didn't get paralyzed at all

only really hurt myself twice as a kid, once falling about 20 feet and landing on my arm. i had an extra joint in my forearm as i ran home crying. stupid ten year olds. really, just behind the wrist was pulverized in the xrays.

then there was the time i was goin down the hill on the bike (where have you heard that opener before) and took a turn at the bottom at 90 degrees, i thought the bike would fishtail and go round the corner, but no.. stupid twelve year olds... turning right and failing fishtail made me slam down on my right side, but my downhill momentum took me to what was now my left, and bike+me rolled on down the rest of the street into a pine tree. never saw what caused that scar in my calf tho, musta been gravel.

although the best is yet to come, as it looks like im inheriting my father's bad back, like, some horrible disease kind, not just the old-man-angry-kind, but the kind where you wake up in such pain that you cant move and have to moan so that someone can hand you your pills.

Actually, being shot in the gut is extremely bad (being shot anywhere is generally a bad thing). But being shot in the gut is extremely bad due to the amount of internal hemorraghing it can cause.

I'll probably sound like an idiot but here it goes...

I was working (I'm a Kitchen Porter) and was cleaning the pots and pans. I went to pick up a pan without checking to see if it was hot or not (you are supposed to assume that anything can be hot) and gripped it really tight because I knew it's relatively heavy. 1 second later....OUCH! I put my hand in a sink that had water in it. But I forgot that I had put degreaser in it.

After about an hour the pain went away but I was left with a huge, bright red burn and my hand was still feeling tingly.

pleurisy was the most annoying and frustrating

Dunno if "past life" stuff counts, but the most painful experience I have had was being shot and killed; I was only getting food for my family when BLAM; I was shot in the chest, I spent the next 5 minutes strugling to breath in complete agony X.x. Contemplating my end, and that I would likely never see my family again. The loss of a family member was a really really bad thing in my case (our survival depended on our ability as a group to get food).
One of the worst ways to die IMO.

Not a pleasant memory to re-live, regardless if it was real or not (for the nubcaeks who think its funny to flame people's spiritual beliefs as "stupid" and or "irrational" because they are "impossible", please run into a brick wall 3 times, while shooting yourself in the foot. Thank you.).

No. I wasn't in Somalia during Restore Hope (I wasn't even enlisted then). Unfortunately, the nature of the mission in which I recieved my injury is still classified.

I don't get hurt much. Mostly because I rarely go outside, yay! Hehe.

Well, my most painful experience I can remember... hmm. I guess its gotta be when I was about 9, I was out on the road with my friend (no cars, thank god). We were both on bicycles and we were just riding around, when my front tire meets with his back tire by accident, and we both fall. He was able to stop himself by falling on his hands, while I fell into a rock filled ditch. I got pretty cut up, but no broken bones. Yeah, ouch.

Err, I know the title says most painful but... When I was like 6, I went taking a leak on some rocks by the sea (it was a slope made up of large rocks). I don't know what the hell happened, but I lost my balance and hit a rock edge head first (right by my eye...). I didn't feel a single thing and remember being more scared of the needle and my mom's horror, than all the blood that was dripping down. The doctors said I'd have to get stiches, but none of that happened... And I'm still living!

As for the most painful experience, hmm... Probably, when I was 7. I was riding my bicycle and some guy crashed into me with a bike. He didn't even help me, just drove off (and that was in the no-traffic zone). The police got him later and I was taken to the x-ray to examine the neat deep marking on my knee that I got from the nut on the bike... Everything was ok, but it hurt like hell...

During P.E. in our High School, one of the resident bullies 'passed' the ball to me with full force over a small distance. It hit my right thumb, whichs upper part was literally pushed into a 90° angle from the rest. I didn't realize it was broken and played through the whole two hours with it, trying not to show how much it hurt because I didn't want to be regarded a wussie (needless to say, I failed miserably).

After that, I adopted the healthy 'I don't give a cows droppings.'-attitude I display so proudly nowadays.

Lesson to everyone: Never run on slippery surfaces.

I did that but I dint just fall over. I hit an edge of a wall. Thankfully it wasnt that bad, I only had one small operation to sew the skin on the top of my head together. It gets preaty frustrating when someone sees that scar.

i'd say getting gangbanged by three chicks all socking you in the junk.

it wasn't even testicles and scrotum anymore. it was just a mess of junk.

Having all my ligaments torn off my ankle bone had to have been one of the most painful injuries I've had....I went into shock later on, but it still bloody well hurt as I hobbled over to a car to get a ride to the hospital.

Other notable injuries:
7 stitches in my forehead (hit by a bike when I was 6, might explain some stuff)
Broke my wrist in two places when I was 8 or 9
Sprained my ankle when I was 5
