I'm an avid gamer...been playing games as far as i can remember (Wing Commander 2 was my first game to memory i see myself playing..)
From Western Australia, i've only just revcenmlty re-installed Half-Life so when this mod is released i can download and play it (I gave up playing Half-Life online earlier because of the amount of people that are getting more and more cable connections)
Followed the link from penny-arcade..been looking at the forums, drooling over the piccies ever since.
Interests: Mapping (done it for nearly every game, including but not limited to: Duke Nukem 3D, Half-Life, CS, TFC, FA, DOD, FLF, UT, Strike Force, Air-Fight UT, all the TC's for Duke3D, Total Annihilation (all versions), and even more then that. This will also include Natural Selection.)
Occupation: I do networking for local companies (im only 16)

im 16, i generally play old school games from the underdogs (www.the-underdogs.org) and half life mods. i also enjoy a good rainbow six: rogue spear now and then. I am a leader of the BTS clan. (bts stands for: blood thirsty smurfs) (www.btsclan.tk) i also enjoy long walks on the beach, candelight dinners, and blowing the #### out of aliens! wooh!

I also play Warcraft 3, Starcraft, BF1942, Icewind Dale 2, and have been known to sneak in some Neverwinter Nights on occasion.
I'm not much for forums, so you'll probably see me idling away in the IRC channel more often then posting like a mad rabid monkey here. I learned about NS while reading the Penny Arcade news, and they said the most anticipated mod <b>that will be completed</b>. "Oh boy!" I said, "A decent mod that's actually going to be finished?! You're kidding me!". So here I am.
I went martial arts once. It was boring as hell lol. I discovered NS about a week ago. I am impressed. The screenshots look great(I can't believe this is the Half-Life engine) and the gameplay sounds fantastic. Seems a little like actually being a marine in Starcraft.
I'm from New Orleans, now living in Mississippi doing periodic contract work on software. I don't play online all that often and generally stick to things like Deus Ex and Shogun. When I need and online fix I usually play CS or Infiltration, but this looks like it's gonna' blow both of 'em out of the water.

Hello everybody! I've been reading the forums for some time but I've been too lazy to register and post. However when I saw this thread I thought it might be a good chance to start. I first heard about ns from an article on www.gamespy.com and thought to check it out. After navigating the site for a bit, it seemed pretty nice so I decided to keep an eye on this mod. Since that day, I've been checking the natural-selection site everyday.
