it looks like one tho =/
its got that leak effect for me, with all the images kindof screwed up.
Usually this isn't a problem, but sometimes it can cause visual glitches. You probably just found one such glitch.
I think a leak would mean that the brush was exposed to the black outside void, thus creating a fullbright compiled map that would run horribly. A crack (i'm guessing) is just a small gap between the brush and the wall or whatever it was next to.
i'll try to fix most of the HoM errors for 3.0.
Hah! Told you so! <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

Good show tommyd, everyone respects a mapper who allows no less than perfection!
I agree <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->
I made one little booboo and used a NULL on an external brush (connected with the evil outside world)
And it looked like a leak still everything got rendered <!--emo&:0--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wow.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wow.gif'><!--endemo-->
