The other things i hate is the fade falls through the floor when gestating in way too many areas especially the worst one is Veil cant remember hive name but the closest one to overlook, it has nasty little floors that get you stuck under.
Oh yeh on tanith theres the floor in the red hall in between the ladder going down into dbl and the west access node that if you fade on it you sink into the floor. Its actually quite trippy.

Aww.. I liked bast, it was an awesome map (and the first one I played ns on) Why do people have to be a pain in the *** if they dont like something? Theres no way 99.9% of the people that were complaining could come close to making something that would top bast... Why complain, when what you would do would be even worse... And if you can map, don't complain, maybe ask if he needs help.. That is really stupid guys, show some respect to the people who made the maps you play on

2 The designer got so annoyed at everybody saying how bad his map was that he left the NS Community, which is a shame, becasue it was a decent map.

They are rebuilding nancy, but again, as said many times before, R_speeds are a bit high in places (Flayra has some strict standards), so it'll be included in a Steam-patch when it's finished. Though he hasn't had any updates from the team rebuilding nancy in a while. :/

I hate seeing all the good old maps being removed because of some minor flaws(ok, nancy was a nightmare) and then replaced by crap like mineshaft, veil and lost. Origin is the only new map that isn't made of a single corridor that has been copy&pasted and turned around and upside down a few times. Like someone said above, bast has/had completely different themes with each hive and almost with each corridor. Mappers don't have any more ideas or are they just lazy?

I liked bast, it was an awesome map (and the first one I played ns on)
