<div class="IPBDescription">loading things far away</div> I am working on a map that has rather wide open spaces and it tends to crash frequently when structures start to be put down in everywhere. Will turrets/ocs shoot/track things that are beyond the player's max viewable distance of the map? In other words, If I return the max viewable distance to it's default (right now it's cranked up to 10,000), would that increase the stability?

Yes. 10.000 is a high max view distance. There is usually no need for any value larger than 1024 (the default.) However I have cranked it to 3000 with no adverse effects.
