Like i said, any method of taking shortcuts is fine...

I absolutely love these speed demos. I remember "back in the day" with QDQ and SDS and so on. It's totally mad to see how much better people are than you.

FFVIII was easy to beat, at the end. All you need is Quintis, Squall and Zell. Wait for the final boss to bring them all down to critical health, or have Quintis use one of her blue magic Limit breaks to kill someone. If they have Auto-Haste....prepare for pwnage. I beat the boss with Zell. The same damn limit attack, done about 20 times each limit timer. with Auto-Haste and First Attack, ATB time of 2 seconds. The final boss takes about 10 to charge.

Never personally played Prime, but that sounds impressive.

I'm leery to download these though, because I do want to experience Prime sometime. However, I'm not sure that will ever happen, as I don't really feel like dropping $150 on a GameCube-- I want to be able to buy new skis this year.

Since FF8's....... interesting.... Junctioning system means levels are pretty meaningless you just got to be well junctioned.

I went ahead and spoiled Prime for myself, because I figured there's no way I'll ever play it to completion.

After watching the first 8 now... man...
Sure he exploits the maps and abilities... but damn... there is a high degree of skill going on here just the same.

What are these?

I still think watching this guy play is like watching God play Metroid Prime, on speed, with sv_friction 0.

And i'm not sure it's map exploiting. The people who made Prime probably playtested it to death, and just decided to let people have little shortcuts that they have to find if they wanna skip something.

His battle with Metroid Prime was...I hate him. He made my win look stupid and weak.
