In the second latest picture you've posted, you have a texture with lights on it going along the walls of an elevator shaft. I can also see that you've used overlays with that texture; however, the texture you're using for overlays doesn't have black (0,0,0) as the invisible color. The color in the texture is something like 7,7,7, which makes the dark areas slightly visible. I've included a picture that shows this (sort of). From your screenshot, it's easy to tell how far the overlay brush went.
Edit: MSPaint's jpeg compression made it less obvious; the one on the left side has a little stronger border.
This seriously, seriously reminds me of Metroid Prime...it's beautifully crafted to look like a space station within a cave of some sort. That marines start looks awesome for a room! whoa, that totally kicks ****... great use of the new textures. i think this would be better as a CO_ map since the architecture is complex and has a lot of vertical components. only thing i'd suggest is to have the rock face/cave thingy more integrated into the man made stuff. it would be cool to have the rock side as the alien hive and the techy side for the marines.
another good thing about co_ is that you can make it a small map that wont take as long to build. hurry up and submit it to Flayra <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
yeah, that was kinda my idea...rocks as alien part and complex as the marine part ...also to make it look like time has "grown" in the techy-base parts, almost like the rock wanted to grow over the human parts and eliminate the present of mankind ever been there...or something like that, will continue on the map this weekend and post some more pix when i have time,

I concur, that would be an incredibly cool co_ map. No more unstoppable JPs zipping along the ceiling, no long corridors where aliens can just be hit by anyone... incredible.

Great map, cant wait to play it, very refreshing change from some of the blander, less contrasting, no-new-idea maps that have been in development recently.
I dont think I have seen any res nodes though. It might be pretty tricky to have this map work as a non-co map because of the archutecture involved although I would love to see it as either.

btw rspeeds in every room are between 150-500(615-650) at the worst peaks, but dont think normal players can get there, maybe them climbing creatures)
