I know a bit of French. (I suck at it, though. I've had to take it since grade 1. I'm in grade 10. I hate French.)

Learned Hebrew all through primary school and some of high school. I'm a bit shakey with future tense, my vocabulary isn't very extensive, but it's sufficient.

Kinda picking up Japanese from watching anime, and from learning\examining the words to various anime themes. After comparing translations of lines with the same words in, you start to learn which ones are which. It's kinda useful for subtitles which aren't completely accurate - you can understand what they mean better even without understanding every word.

Kinda started to pick up German pretty much the same way (Rammstein lyrics). My exposure to Japanese is much greater than to German, though.

    American English

Canadian French (I took it for 3 years, end of 2nd year I was good with it, then my HS teacher (3rd year) taught pure French)

Latin but you'd have to give me something to ponder, I can't speak it unless spoken to first.

a wee bit of German, mainly Ich bin ein berliner (I am a jelly donut), and whatever I gleam from Rammstein.

a wee bit of Japanese, mainly gleamed from the book Shogun and my Japanese for Busy people tapes/book

a wee bit of Spanish, mainly gleamed from a visit to Vieques and my girlfriend teaching me.

Speaking Japanese is so cool! So then you can... um... talk to... the Japanese people who all already know English...

Sorry, aside from being a total geek, for what concievable reason would you have for wanting, no even NEEDING to know Japanese?

No on se kumma... enemmänkin suomalaisia.

I speak fluent English, not so fluent Swedish and broken German. My native language is Finnish.

Nordic countries and languages rock I wish I lived there. I'm stuck with french here <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo-->

note to everyone: this isn't disrespect for the French. I personally am French, and I have to admit the truth: most people here are idiots. You get yelled at for being bald, you get yelled at for asking the time to someone older than you, you get yelled at because you're freaking exhausted and just collapse in a chair.
