    First off, people have alot of missconseptions,

    2 whoever said fade blinking was faster on the ground, your very mistaken,
    jump then blink, or blink hopping (much like bunnyhopping) is way faster , also takes a fraction of the energy, so you deffinatly cant run out... and if you have high fps, its even less of a problem.

    and yeah i agree fades are a bit overpowered, but then 2.0 has nearly twice as many flaws as 1.04 did.

    im not saying its overpowered im just saying it will help newbies and newbie commanders from total destruction from one incredible fade, all u could really do is up the adren cost of blink slightly so people cant "fly" outside of hera and other maps with big open areas

    Don't know if you guys noticed but it seems they're currently testing fades with a 60 res price tag. Wonder what price they'll be when we get our hands on them =P

    You are mixing up 2.0 and 1.04.

    As it is now the fade has more airtime then the jp. Its kinda stupid to c an fade that can fly all the time. Aliens have already an flying class.

    Indeed.     With the new blinking system however, it?s kinda like boarding a invisible motorcycle for about 1 - 2 seconds.     All FPS linked attacks were fixed or are about to get fixed. Only Leap still works with FPS i think. But I'm not quite sure about that.

    I never could figure out how the old Blink worked though...

    sometimes I'd teleport two feet ahead of me...others, 10 feet, and others past that, as far as I could go.

    And then, of course, there was the issue of getting stuck in buildings. I remember the time I got stuck in the marines prototype lab and they decided to leave me there for decoration while someone welded me with my regeneration....

    if it's possible, modify current blink to make leave behind a trail of blue like in 1.04, while also making you invisible (HA!) and letting you move through other players.

    overpower to the max but fun

    Assuming it stays, I really REALLY hope we get something new to cover the gap. Lerk sucks middle game as it is. Increasing Fade cost will only make it show up in games LESS.

    Oh well, it's still just a test.

    The trick with the old blink was to do a 'super jump' while you blinked (crouch and jump). I managed to blink huuuuuge distances doing this, the speed you could cover a map like that was amazing =D

    Every single time I see a fade blink I wish they got 100% cloak during blinking. It'd make blink so much cooler and it looks silly when a fade just flies around the hallways. But, I guess it'd be overpowering and stuff. *snarl*

    Feh. Look at what 50 res can buy a Marine before you say that Fades need nerfing. And without blink, Fades are worthless in the midgame and aliens have a huge gap between Lerks and Oni. While the really good Fades can be nasty, remember that they're a skilled player who put in a 50 res investment. They should do well against noob LMG marines.
