Supernorn Soup.
Categories: soup, T'khan
Yield: 8 Servings
1 Supernorn Butter for frying 1Kg (2 lb) Norn 10 Carrots 2 cups of beans 5 Onions 1 Bunch mixed herbs Pepper and salt Flour
Cut norn into thin slices, dust with flour(seasoned flour preferably) fry in butter until outside golden brown.
Slice vegetables and lightly stir fry removing whilst still crisp.
Take clean five pound (2.5 k) rock, place in boiling water with supernorn chunks.
Cut supernorn into chunks and boil vigorously for 4 hours in 3 gallons of water, adding water as necessary.
After supernorn has been boiling for 3hrs and 50 mins check rock for softness.
Add salt to taste.
When rock soft, strain stock, thicken with flour, put stock, pieces of norn and vegetables back into pot boil for another 10 minutes throw away supernorn and serve while hot.
