Typical get rich quick schemes, they bring out Ferai soup that isn't Ferai but norn soup, they have been using the recipes from the below mentioned book, don't believe me read this article.

Quote

We at Universal - Consumer Awareness Research Enterprise, (U-CARE, the non profit testing and comparison group) are appalled at the blatant plagiarism that the norn/Supernorn people have perpetrated on the poor defenceless peoples of the known universe. Was it by coincidence, good fortune or conscience that the book

The 1001 Delicacies.

By Sheika.

Famous Recipes Using norns.

(Warning supernorns need more preparation time as they are denser).

T'kan Publications of Lakath.

surfaced when it did. We asked the Universal Federated Bureau of Investigations to evaluate the book and some surprising results were found-

1. Dna found on the cover were Supernorn, along with people/creatures with long standing criminal ties/records.
2. Recipes were checked and Ferai soup, KFK and surprising enough the pizza were exact copies of the ingredients as cooked using the methods describe in the above mentioned book.
3. The surprising declaration of the Ferai-olics Anonymous person. Why you ask? Well the evidence speaks for itself, here is a self confessed addict yet the soup has only just come on the market and the addict is already addicted.
4. The UFBI are testing and looking for evidence re- addictive drugs being added.
5. There are questions as to the sudden increase in the size of the bank balance of the Ferai-olics Anonymous person, investigations are ongoing.
6. The sudden issue of special leave with full pay to the Campbells Food Makers staff and the influx of some very undesirable beings, especially those on the UFBI wanted list.
7. The alleged rip-off of the distinct Campbell soup tins labels, a 20th century company, http://www.campbellsoup.com/index.asp, (look top right corner of page), legal action pending.
8. The security camera tapes are being scanned to identify the creature that placed the above mentioned publication in the locker.
9. The newly promoted General upon questioning said a SMS text sent him to that particular locker. He had the feeling of being followed, but who in their right minds is going to tangle with a squad of 10 heavily armed, heavily armoured TSA rine/frontiersmen.
10. The most dramatic evidence was the break in at the retired admirals restaurant, he said that he had a feeling something was wrong so had placed the book in safe keeping which was fortunate.

If that isn't enough evidence to convince you something unusal is going on, check this norn government article that was found in their criminal justice publication albeit it was printed in such a small font that we had to enlarge 400% to allow you to read it.

On the back page it reads as follows:-

The decision to empty the pens and jails of the norn worlds and use the inmates for various food products is without doubt the most economical and practical proposition to have been raised for millennium. We can rid ourselves of undesirables and fix our deficit at the same time. The only issue at the present time is quality control, but we got around that by starting fictitious companies and dummy corporations so the fallout will not affect us. We have an assurance and understanding with "X" as to the non-traceable nature of the enterprises.

We have to be very wary of the number of cans of Ferai soup that have been found to be defective, evidence the customer who brought 20 cans found 1 to be defective and brought 80 more. A question has been raised as to addictive properties being placed into the products, we might have to eliminate the enterprises and all links to save any backlash, criminal charges, bad press etc.

Forces have benn sent to eliminate all traces of these fatal mistakes.

OK this is now starting to get a bit old, and is now bordering on the flame-war side of things. Sorry for reviving, but I just found thisthread^^

Anyway:

This is the new animal friendly Ferai. Why? It replaces the thanksgiving turkey, making all turkeys very happy. And it is easy to create: Just drown 100 Ferais in a river (do it slowly, so they feel all the pain), leave 99 in the rive [fishes need food, too!] and take 1 for the actual food. Now this is effective, isn't it? Then just pop it into the oven (we are Ferai friendly, too, because we could have popped in a living Ferai. nice of us, isn't it?)

FUN FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY!!!

:EDIT: WAAAH I didn't notice the LET IT DIE!!! Sorry, my fault, feel free to close it and slap me with a stick.

No, no... you *can* drown it, but that leads to much tougher meat. What you really need to do is break its neck, gut and clean it properly, and get it into the oven preferably within a few minutes. You wouldn't believe how much more tender it is prepared fresh, rather than from a frozen Ferai steak or truss.

And the Ferai-Food thread shall continue so long as the Ferai themselves do! They make a good lunch, any time!

How do you stop a Ferai from drowning?

Let. It. DIE.
This joke is old, and overused. Please just stop. Let this thread die.
I do believe I have intellectual property rights on the "ferai" thing. So I believe it is in my rights to ask you to stop this stupid joke.
• TalesinTalesin Our own little well of hate Join Date: 2002-11-08 Member: 7710NS1 Playtester, Forum Moderators
Within rights to ask, yes. But demanding gets hairy for a number of reasons. If you'd like them extrapolated, I'd suggest heading over to the NS Customization forum, where someone had posted MSPaint concept images of models, and then threatened to sue people if anyone but a certain person modelled them. Never mind the extremely general nature of the 'concept' sketches, I'd taken the time to explain a great deal about intellectual property rights throughout.

In short, even McDonald's cannot stop people from saying 'McDonalds sucks'. Verizon cannot legally bring a lawsuit against someone who had grabbed the www.verizonsucks.com domain name, which is why they registered over 260 URLs and have left them parked at their main website. When someone registered www.verizonREALLYsucks.com and www.verizonshouldspendmoremoneyonitsserviceandlessonlawyers.com, they were served with a 'dilution of trademark' suit. No such trademark exists upon the Ferai. Copyright, yes. Which protects your fanfic from being taken and used without your permission, such as being published in/as a book. Trademark and servicemark are completely different beasts though, pardon the pun.

I prefer shooting of a Ferai's limbs, selling them to children as lollipops and then playing rugby with the corpse. (Ah, it's so furry hitting it hard doesn't hurt GNAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH)
