1. Decompile the original model
2. look at the model u want to overwrite
3. note the names of the animations for further use
4.with the new model decompiled, rename the animations (.smd's) with what animation it would suit best for the new models anims.
5. when u have it all done, mess abotu with the smd, by creating an animation for each animation file u have
6. set the fps like the old one by looking at its .qc file
7. when u have it all done compile it.
8. there you go, your brand new model all sqeaky and shiny
9. rename it to the new models name. eg v_hg.mdl for pistol
