just a suggestion. it's not an eww. just my opinion.

I think it's sexy. I really like guns of this type. And with the exposed barrel and chamber it'd probably be more efficient (faster cooling). This design makes alot of sense when you think about it. And when you say it'll slide on those rails...*drool*
Point is, there are different opinions. There's no magic bullet of a model, and can never hope to be. There'll always be at least one person who dislikes a model. But there are usually many more who will like it. I like it, and from what I've read here with a few tweaks everyone could be happy with it...it might even be better than--dare I say it--Drake's pistol <!--emo&:0--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wow.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wow.gif'><!--endemo-->.\
//edit D'oh I didn't see dela had mentioned the cooling before me...now ppl think he's smrat and I r not smrt
heres a tenative grip and hammer-area (not hammer, its hammerless) pic... im thinkin the grips to skinny and the hammer area needs something... not sure what... vents?
My one criticism would have to be lack of substance on the gun. It makes sense to me that there should be less of the open-facedness on the entire gun - that element should be reserved for the barrel of the gun. I think the back/hammer area should be a little more solid and blockish. The handle seems a little wimpy too.
Other than those very minor suggestions, I rather like it and have nothing to add <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
Here's a quick photoshop hack I whipped up demonstrating what I said above(in case I was too unintelligible to really understand <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->)
Thanks for the feedback, I know how im gonna do it now, unfortunately due to the needed changes, i will be modeling it from scratch...
the back of the pistol will be made so the front slider can slam back and fit like a glove, the barrel and rods are supposed to be exposed like that, perhaps a skinner can decorate them with textures?
The Grip will be made more "meaty" and i will be eliminating the deagle-esque camelhump on the back, and opting for glock-like sights.
I had a different idea for the clip insertion, and i will try it out on you guys to see if you like it... im thinking of having basically a normal clip that presses in from the back instead of through the handle... we shall see
owen sees, owen likes. now what u have here is a good base line, now what u need to do is spend time on the handle and make it look as if it can hold a clip
That looks puuuurdy <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo--> I think its a nice idea for a pistol 2 btw.

** calm down, it's called a post count **
just a note, ignore 90% of the negative feedback you get, it's not worth responding to.
postcounts do not matter, but some people post useless information, just to get an extra post... don't respond to them either...
keep up the good work, and let me know if i can help you with anything.
