From the fact they are playtesting full-stop means they're probably near release and look at the front page, they've put up a progress percentage thing.
I'd say they're so close to release, you can almost smell the fresh underwear of a marine who just survived an ambush by a bob <!--emo&:)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'><!--endemo-->. Of course I could be wrong, as usual.

'Course it's always fun to pretend it'll come out bug free. ^^ But seriously, if NS comes out BUG FREE, I will be more than impressed.
I can think of many a mod that were extensivly tested and needed to be patched because of rather obvious bugs...
Don't get me wrong however, no one likes downloading patches. (On the exception of me, but... Y'know... that's ME!<!--emo&;)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'><!--endemo--> I got my money on late september at the latest, Mid-late August at the earliest, take it with a grain of salt.
No one likes speculation when the day before release things are still STC (Subject to change. =).

new page says SUMMER release right? well, in the US that late sept at the latest its coming out... (yeah, i guess its ok since another person already did lol) and earliest... tomorrow? (j/k btw, like that would happen... id slap myself on the forehead so hard my skull would crack if it did) earliest im guessing is (very) late aug/early sept.
and, the chances of PHL actually joking are very slim... they rarely (i don't think theyve ever done it) post a joke about something so serious like NS.. (on the news section anyway)
