Last playtest?  Did I read that right?  Could the release soon be upon us?(Admins will refute and say when its done... have patience young grasshopper)

BUT... but.. but...  PHL said so!  Can I have glimmer of hope?

    Ummm... I'm looking at PHL and see nothing about NS' last playtest... I'm pretty sure they tested this weekend, so that would be RC6. I'm betting the release at 7. I've thought so since RC1.

    Where on PHL does it say anything about Ns having its last playtest.

    From the fact they are playtesting full-stop means they're probably near release and look at the front page, they've put up a progress percentage thing.

    I'd say they're so close to release, you can almost smell the fresh underwear of a marine who just survived an ambush by a bob  <!--emo&:)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'><!--endemo-->. Of course I could be wrong, as usual.

    Well, My theory is: A game can be tested even longer than it has been in development and <i>STILL</i> have bugs in it upon release.

    'Course it's always fun to pretend it'll come out bug free. ^^ But seriously, if NS comes out BUG FREE, I will be more than impressed.

    I can think of many a mod that were extensivly tested and needed to be patched because of rather obvious bugs...

    Don't get me wrong however, no one likes downloading patches. (On the exception of me, but... Y'know... that's ME&#33<!--emo&;)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'><!--endemo--> I got my money on late september at the latest, Mid-late August at the earliest, take it with a grain of salt.

    No one likes speculation when the day before release things are still STC (Subject to change. =).

    It would take an act of God or Congress to give out a release date. I somehow get zhe feeling that one day it'll be released.
