Already done most of the head.. but still working on the lazer and shading and such...
I think its pretty good considering its the first time I've attempted colouring in photoshop...

I've also changed the pic slightly since I posted that. I removed the "fake nose" shading part and put a kind of glow around the blue part on the visior.
and luckily, since I still have that last preview pic, I can still revert back if I change my mind again... which I do often. Heck, the last pic I drew & posted on this forum here went through 4 versions before anyone even replied to the thread
Now get to the rest of his body.
And make sure to blur the muzzle flashes like you did his vizor. VERY nice effect there.
On the original: My god. that uncolored of the marine kicks ****.
The second one looks sweet, except he's REALLY fat...
Not to happy with the padding on the arms especially. Definatly going to redo at least a part of those..
Removed a couple things, such as the headset. it was kinda bulky and awkward... Might draw in another one later.
oh, and as for the visor, thats not a blur. Thats a strip of blue on a blank layer at something like 50% opacity <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->
Its easier.. blurs can sorta consume things.

I normaly don't quote myself but I would like to give a WTH? My post was not in any way a flame I promise njroo ke, I was saying that for a MS paint drawing it was bad ****... I donno WTH Delarosa is thinking.

My Photoshop isn't loading properly for some reason and I'm leaving today and won't be back till about tuesday. So no updates till then I guess <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo-->
All I can really do right now is fill in general areas and patch holes in the outline (and there are many... The first time I tried to fill in the head I turned half the picture green.. <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo--> ) But its an mspaint picture.. so I really shouldn't be picky.. its easier than tracing over the outlines of a hand drawn pic..

That second marine seems excessively muscly to me though, I really can't imagine a TSA marine being that big. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo--> Nevertheless, good stuff.

It's totally obvious it is, can't you see how badly it sucks? ~_^
I have yet to even get a real summer break yet... I've had to work everyday up till now.. I plan to do NOTHING next week. I want a break, or I run risk of going insane and killing something... if I feel like working on colouring the marine, then I will..
