public games are crap .. u cant have a gg without 5 friends that ( u know arnt reatards ) game depends to mutch on teamplay.... and 80% of players are either extreamly **** or just plain dumb/slow@tards. makeing the single marine useless just turned the game into CLAN STACKING wars. now a n00b on the team just gets even more flameing.

I'm glad you are so experianced in the field of 2.0 and that you know exactly how it works and that you can make accusations like that.

Yes I hate how tanith was stripped of everything. It's still a good map though. Mineshaft could use some ambience <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo--> thats about it.
Hehehe, 3 DC advantage <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->
1.04 was DC first or 99% guaranteed disaster. 2.0 is quite different.
If you're against inexperienced marines who don't use the observatory, sensory first will totally own them. You can sit in the marine start without them noticing you unless they happen to bump into you. Hell, you can BUILD right next to and even in there! "Hey how did that OC get in our base???" <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->
Against more experienced marines, movement is a viable option. They probably will get observatory early but not the expensive motion tracking, so sensory only becomes important later in the game (even if marines have obs at outposts, a sensory chamber network is still useful because it cancels motion tracking. They may know when you're attacking their outposts, but they won't know your movements while out of the range of their obs, as long as you stay in the SC network, so that only gives them a few second early warning.
So what's the MC vs. DC status? Celerity owns. Carapace skulks? If they have shotguns you're dead anyway. Being fast enough to dodge is more important than damage absorbing ability. Not sure what's best for skulks, celerity or silence. Silence is nice, but with celerity you're so fast you're next to them by the time they can react to hearing you. Depends on if you favour sneaky ambush vs. mad assault I guess. Healing is no problem with celerity, you get to a hive in no time. Fades: all are useful, I like adrenaline for blink energy. Gorge: celerity to flee, adrenaline to attack.

ja im glad to or we'd all be n00bs
EDIT:: 400 hundred posts, ya!! Ok, let this useless spam topic die. Needs to be locked.
k i have to say i felt some maps were a bit butchered in places (i can't believe the doors into cargo were removed in ns_tanith)
and as i've said before i feel ns_veil is a little underwhelming visually (the hives, really they all look like maintenence)
