There's an alternative rock online radio station that I listen to almost religiously (<a href='http://www.wazee.org' target='_blank'>radio.wazee</a>).

I'll occasionally have that going during a game, and I find that I'm more aggressive and offensive during the heavy songs, and more focused on defense and passive maneuvers during the slower songs. Hardly surprising I know, but I was a bit surprised once I realized that my gaming style will frequently change depending on the music. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

Damn straight. For NS it's like this: Metal, Military, Epic.

When I'm owning as Marine: DMX - Up in Here

    Others:
Offspring - Gotta Keep Em' Seperated
    Ramones - Blitzkrieg Bop

How do you play the HL tracks on your PC? I've only been able to get it to play on my CD player.

I have both UT and UT2K3, both baught legally.<!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->
if i remember correctly, the UT2k3 soundtrack is availible in one of the game's folders in OGG format, which can be opened with winamp.

as for UT original, lolfighter said it best:

<!--QuoteBegin--lolfighter+Jul 17 2003, 11:21 AM--></span><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td><b>QUOTE</b> (lolfighter @ Jul 17 2003, 11:21 AM)</td></tr><tr><td id='QUOTE'><!--QuoteEBegin-->The Unreal Tournament music. To get it into a playable format, start UnrealEd. In the "View" menu, select Music Browser. Open the music files (located in UnrealTournament\Music), then choose "Export" from the File menu (in the "Music" window) to save the track as a .s3m module. WinAmp plays those. If you need it in .wav format, DeliPlayer's Stream Recorder does a good job. You'll need to register (or find a free tool instead) if you want stereo though.
As it is for personal use, this is legal afaik. <!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->

once you have these files, you can do the roundabout method i did - use winamp to convert them to wave files, then get a wav->mp3 converter and presto, you're done <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

It all depends on what sort of game you're playing.

For example... if you are getting your **** kicked, and have accepted defeat or you have a last stand situation going on:

    Everlast - So Long

    Or

    Walking out into battle:

    Spineshank - New Disease
    Professional Murder Music - Slow
    Finger Eleven - Slow Chemical
    Stock 7 - Switch
    Snot - Absent
    Blindside - Pitiful
3rd Strike - Cities On Fire

    Or

    Just guarding something

    Marilyn Manson - Sweet Dreams
    3rd Strike - Redemption
    Soil - Man I Am
System of a Down - Dam
    Tool - Parabola
    Unloco - Fold

    Or

If all else fails, throw on:

    Beethoven - Moonlight Sonata

I could go on forever, but i'll just stop now.

Hmm..I rarely play NS with music, if I do its only at 25%, but I tend to listen to...

    Poison the well
    Funeral for a friend
    From autumn to ashes
    Hopesfall
    Sevendust
    Atreyu

Use a cd ripper/converter program. Thar converts .wav to .mp3 files. The first track is just the data file of course but the others will be the music ones.

    The 'Howdy Dudey' theme song
'Go go Power Rangers!' theme. <b>It's just that good.</b>
'The National anthem' as being sang by Rosie O'Donnel. <b>Can you say poetry?</b>
'Barbie Girl' by Aqua. <b>I'm just a softy for that one.</b>
'It's not right, but it's okay' by Whitney Houston. <b>Applies to anyone who thinks the guy on the other team that keeps killing you is cheating.</b>
