Found one
Well earlier I was searching through the forums for the Zerg hud for aliens, and found it but also ran across this. It's an already modeled ghost rifle, just needs a few things, theres even a download for the model in the thread, anyone wanna take a shot at it?

Edit: The download is on the 4th page

Yea I decided I'd post it incase anyone was going to try to make another one so they wouldn't have to start from scratch. Cause imo that model looks really close to the concept art

    where have you guys been?

i started working on it Jamil started working on it Maus started working on it... there will someday be 3+ versions...

i'm working on the mutalisk first... then i'll work on this one...

just a little note, working on this model is a pain, there are no back faces, so nobody can make p and W models very fast or easily...

I was thinking that when i worked on my hi poly P models. Maus told me to select the whole model, mirror it and fill in the blank spot. It actually worked pretty well.

EDIT: If you need the w or p model ill make it

Here's a shot with the mirrored sheath, proves that mirroring the gun makes it possible for P & W models to be made fast and easy

EDIT: I think the sheath should be removed. Who are you trying to camo anyway and why would you need a sheath in a space station

That sheath is gonna make my eyes bleed. And it's gonna kill the polycount.

I'd suggest removing it alotgether, or making use of the masked transparency and fusing up those holes while lowering the overall detail. You can have it, but now it'll be a practical eye-candy piece and not a framerate killer.
