With so much engineering altering skin colors to be red, yellow, etc., does it even matter?

I wouldn't be surprized if hidden in Nambese was some root word or few that referred to his...dislike of change.

Re: Nambese -- totally fabricated, pretty much on the spot. The only conscious decision in picking his name was that I wanted someone of African origin.

Re: ending -- this was meant to be something that is complete in its own right, but only one facet of a larger story. Writing a story about a hero is easy; I wanted to write about a normal person thrown into something much larger than he was, something that he only needed to escape rather than fix. There is more to the world, more stories to tell... whether or not they ever get written remains to be seen.

that explains it alot, you might want to throw that quote somewhere in the end a authors quote, or if you ever make a "The making of Ex-Genesis: The authors side" you could include it <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'>

Aww :-( I just sat down today and read it all from beginning to end. Now I'm hoping theres more to come in the near future maybe? Oh well, Great story Coil :-)
