Pjofsky, every person who complains about being banned claims he was "banned for no reason". If you truly believe it was a mistake, post <a href='http://www.cofrfps.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewforum&f=17' target='_blank'>here</a> in the CoFR forums and let the admins respond. I <b>guarantee</b> that you weren't banned because you were flying around killing skulks.
I don't have a problem with this sort of thing for two reasons:
1.) I don't generally comm (I get a lot of timeouts and my fps drops to about 10 in the chair which makes it difficult)
2.) I almost exclusively play on Roob's (a small server (12-16 players) with lots of dedicated regulars).
The two combined means that comm bashing is almost nonexistant, and if a non-regular starts to complain about the quality of commanding, he normally gets chastised by those who know better.
I believe I have only commanded my team to victory once, but I've only played 3 or 4 games as commander all the way through.

I generally don't jump in the chair unless I know my team is good. I hate commanding people with deficient mentl functions or people that are just plain immature.
Oh, and about Cofr...it's an ok server, but watch out, some of the admins can be really anal about swearing. I got banned for saying 'crud' over voice comm.
The night games are awesome on CoFR. Theres a nice group of regs... I see about 4 or 5 in this topic :-) I'll sit for 10 minutes trying to get on. Its that good.

First of all, bad experiences do happen occasionaly. Don't rant and rave about it. And if you did demonstrate the behavior described by lemming, I'd support you getting kicked. I've played with lemming a lot, and he doesn't seem like one who would lie about it. And if you were a sucky comm, its ok. I've commed a couple times on CoFR, making sure people knew I sucked and I was new at it. Its ok, just let people know you're not all that great, you'll get some more slack...

Think hard and try to see if there might be any other reason for your ban. And please, don't say you get banned for killing an admin. Thats just outright rediculous. We have only banned maybe once or twice for supposed hacking before the server installed CD, and that was very heavily investigated/spectated. Maybe you don't know what CoFR is, but its a group covering many different games 21+ years of age that show maturity and friendliness. I got kicked several times and such. Thats why i stopped coming for about a month. I usually laugh at things like this, but i didnt want to get banned for no reason, and from a pretty decent server. It was pretty insulting.
Most of the admins are really nice, experienced players, and will usually give you a warning no matter what you say, as long as its your first time there.
Tip- if you're frustrated as a comm, go ahead and say whatever you want to your team, just don't have the voice key down. It really helps.

I am not going to discuss why some of you were banned in this forum. This forum is not the place to do so. Needless to say the reasons people have given in this thread have no basis in fact. Basically I see a lot of people trying to score some cheap shots against us, because someone posted a thread about having a bad game.
This is what I say to anyone who doesnt like the way we run the server.
GO PLAY SOMEWHERE ELSE. NOBODY IS FORCING YOU TO PLAY HERE.
Frankly, I think this Jmmsbond007 fellow has a fairly poor attitude. I have been giving him slome slack, even though he tends to lash out at people on the server for perceived slurs against him. After this little fiasco, I think my patience has run its course. I know the people who have posted their versions of the story are to be trusted more than some blow in player with a big mouth.
