Trying other games and mods is good for your aim; for example, if I want to practice accurate shooting I play AHL (which I suck at tbh) because it requires an extremely high skill level to play very well at (there's people who go 10-0 in an 8 person dm when it only takes 3 or 4 shots with a pistol to kill <!--emo&:0--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wow.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wow.gif'><!--endemo--> )
If you need a short-term increase of acurracy/aim etc, what you need is: Sugar, LOTS of sugar. Lukozade does the trick. However, drink more than 3 within an hour, as I found out, and your brain tends to do funny things, like take over, and you end up shooting air. You will also get several people accuing you of cheating :E Oh, and optical mice > mechanical. Wireless mice are bad. Also, play a dm game, preferably ut or ut2k3 to help increase reactions. It helps, and is often quite funny. DMC = Win for this, pure chaos that can be harnessed if you are skilled enough (I'm barely there :/)
well they must have done something amazing to the optical mice since i last tried them coz all the ones i tried when they first came out were absolutely appaling for gaming and have put me off optical mice forever.

Having a consistent mouse sensitivity is very important. Somehow, someone decided to f with my senesitivity for DoD and put it at around 6. I couldn't kill crap. When I set it back to 20, everything got better.
Anger can help. I always revert to TFC when I am angry or depressed. I was playing 2 days ago, cause one of my friends decided to put the moves on another friend of mine whom I liked. With a (optical) mouse sensitivity of 20, FPS capped at 72, ping of about 100 I got 75-24 sniping. People whip out the accusations when you snipe a conc jumping scout <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->
Yes, the improvements on optical mice has been significant. Only the first gen optical mice still have those glitches where it can't register your movement because you're moving too fast.
The Logitech dual optical or the new MX technology mice work great without any glitches.
Hay guys. Thank you SO much for your advice. After some frustating games, I ended up boosting my sens up to 12.5 and lowering res to 1024.. and i can finally kill again...

In reply to the original topic: I have good days and bad days...its kinda weird.
One day ill go in and get kill after kill after kill as skulk with few or no deaths. The marines get upset to the point that ive been called a cheater twice. I take it as a compliment and continue on.
Other days I do so bad its not even funny. Now if only I could unlock the reason as to why...
why my brother its easy. If my brother is happy and enjoying himself he is extreamly hard to beat....once he gets down though its pitifully easy. So when I play him in a one on one ill usually let him have a few kills to get him happy so he is tough to beat and thus, increase my skill. Then when im ready to beat him I do a couple of gutsy things till I end up killin ghim...he gets so frustated I kick his butt, all the while rubbing it in so he spirals down adn places worse and worse. Hehe (aren't I cruel?)
I guess if I get that focus you better watch out cause ill mow everything down. Course im nautrally better at skulk due to my prefered game style. I like the sneaky, quick, and close type. Course sadly in this game thats not really found anywhere except with skulk in mid-early game.
Throw away your lmg and go the whole round using only your pistol and your knife. I can guarantee you'll have steller aim with the lmg when you start using it again.
i play wit 10-15 fps and i can do pretty well with aliens...Can someone tell me when the Low poly model file is gonna b fixed?...The link has been down for some time and i cant wait till my fps boosts +10
