Actually, I'd have preferred to use a mouse/KB on Metroid Prime, myself. Not being able to strafe and aim at the same d*mn time ticked me off when fighting the flying space pirates, or the Chozo Spirits.
And yes, the x-bucks is pretty much a mid-low end gaming computer, with a closed OS, proprietary peripherals, and no real upgradability. As PvPOnline has said... it's essentially a Mac.
Also, if anyone posts there.. be sure to point out that Bungee had to cut down a lot of the stuff that was originally slated for Halo on the PC, as the Backbreaker didn't have the oomph to handle it. Hopefully once MS has released its money-stranglehold on Bungee's ethics, they'll release a PC version which will put all the old stuff back in, and blow the living **** out of the current version. Halo 2 indeed. That's most likely why they HAVEN'T yet released a PC version, actually. It'd show just how pitiful the box is, compared to an even moderately modern computer.

Personally, I think its wrong to compare PC and Console (XBOX can be compared becaruse its a pc basically) Its like comparing Apples and Oranges, it's impossible.
PC's are made for all kinds of thing while consoles are made for strictly gaming (Excluding XBOX) Now you compare something that is smaller than a PC, uses modified hardware and only has ROM to store its OS to a PC (Excluding XBOX).
Its just not possible to compare to things that only have a few similarities and many differnces.

I have a friend who recently bought a new Mac, and he said it has 5,000 MB RAM. Somehow I doubt that.
Can't say anymore, I'm downloading a new 3.2gHz 1024 MB RAM computer with a geforce 4 video card. Need it to run HL2, compared with my current little 486 mHz 256 MB RAM...

But I DO have to stick up for the xbox. I am the proud owner of one of these excellent consoles. They own the pants off of ps2 and gc, hands down. I've seen the xbox produce some VERY impressive graphics, far and away more than what you would expect from a computer of such specs. No PC with 733mhz and 64mb RAM could EVER produce such gfx. But obviously the logical reason for this is that it doesn't run resource consuming operating systems or other games/apps/etc cluttering up the system, and games being designed specifically for that machine since all xbox's are the same, as an earlier poster mentioned. This is probably due to the use of the Z-Targeting style aiming system. Using that makes fighting Chozo Spirits rather easy.
