Stupid? People?
<div class="IPBDescription">People say that Half-Life 2's going to..</div> SUCK. Funny. I was reading the "Reviews" on EB's site for Half-Life 2, I came across some stupid things. Read for yourself.

Face it...the PC can't handle these graphics. All the shots of the game were done on the Xbox and thats were it belongs. It's so sad that all these companies try to port all the good games to systems that can't handle it. When you see the PC and PS2 versions of Half-Life 2 you'll realise the power thats behind Microsofts Xbox and ditch your computers for good. Course no game can compare to the might that is Halo 2, the sequel to the greatest game of all time..and if you say otherwise you're just a fanboy. Overall, I'd say that this game is just gonna be a straight up shooter..alright graphics (for the Xbox) and shallow gameplay. Other than for showing off the power behind the Xbox I think I'll pass...I'll have Halo 2 and thats more than enough.

Why? 'cause the original half life also stunk. I mean, come on, it was only a first person shooter with decent graphics. and it took valve 4.5 years to come out with the sequel. pretty pathetic, i can say that all those people on this site giving 5 stars know nothiing about games. you guys should stick with sims, a game for non-intellectuals.

VALVE IS ALL TALK!
All the hype in the past about team fortress2 and conditions zero has been huge, but what does valve have to show for it? not alot, i mean TF2 has basically dissappeared out of everyones mind, and wasnt condition zero supposed to come out a while ago? basically my point is that, Half Life 2 Would be an awsome game......if it ever comes out.

GREAT GAME! GOOD GRAPHICS???
HL2 is going to be great no doubt about! The only thing wrong is the graphics engine. If you notice in some of the screen shots, you can see that the terrain is edgy like in HL1. Also, the world weapon models are rather low quality. What I do not like the most about the new graphics is MODELS GO THROUGH EACH OTHER! If you look in a screen where a combine soldier is fighting a bug, you can see his foot go through a dead body. Please fix this Valve!

level design in HALO really blew, think of that mission where you had to follow that little pain in the butt humming blue light robot up like 9 levels. Every level was exactly the same, all the moonsters where in the same spots, it was like playing the same level 9 times in a row.
I hope level desing is a tad better when HALO comes to PC.

Wait wait wait.... hold up a second. You mean that Halo had more than one interior room?
I thought it was some sort of ultra-futuristic technology that made every single interior room look identical so invaders would get lost and go home.

Yup, that should pretty much sum up those people.
On a side note, I lent a friend of mine a CD of the 600meg of Half-life 2, and he's a very devout fan of Halo. I look forward to his response tomorrow.

A PC can't handle those graphics ? What does the person think an Xbox is ? A magical enchanted box ?
After all an XBOX is just a crappy computer, which can only do mainly gaming functions.
I've actually been told by someone that the XBOX is the best because you can just download new hardware for it instead of having to buy another console.

Halo was good, although its just a shooter with a few voice overs.
Half-Life was also good (much better tho 50+ game of the year awards need I say more) but it had the same and more interactable stuff. If you saw the Halo 2 E3 video you hear the journalists hoot when he uses a turret. HL had this in 1998.

HL has been out 6 years almost and is what still in the top 20 chart. As well as being voted the best PC game time and time again and is the 2nd or 3rd best selling PC game in the UK (of all time).
Consols are for people who cant be botherd doing anything other than playing. I mean the PC will always be there, HL has been upgraded every second its been out.
I think I'v said enough, but I showed a few people that HL2 E3 trailer. You should have seen their faces.
