(I was basically testing the see through mag concept and felt like building a gun around it real quick. Stock from my shotty)
I know you guys want em, but I don't think I have the bandwith to post pictures every time <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo--> geocities is like that. For experimental purposes, I modified Murdocks Holosight to see how it would look if it was for a grenade launcher and built in on the side.

    -there are many places you could lower the polycount, for example skinning the grenades in the magazine rather than modelling them, or perhaps use the new transparency on the sights
    -modelling the insides of the barrel is un-necessary <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo-->
    -the general design of the thing is fantastic, i love it <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

    yeah and you could put lower or cut out the back face polys where you dont see it

    Hmm, I wanted the grenades there, because maybe it can be animated so that with each shot one dissappears and the rest move up?

    Kind of like machine gun animations where the belt gets smaller at the last few shots

    Is that possible?

    nope sorry its noe possisble. you'd need it hardcoded into the game that an animation would play for every grenade you lost.
