I don't know what causes that "slump-animation" that makes the HA look like there's nobody inside it, but for some reason the player model was also nudging his torso back and forth very suggestively. [edit] Oh, I just remembered this: The best place I've ever come across Gordon Freeman in was when I joined a Day of Defeat 1.0 server few days ago. The map that was being played was dod_charlie, which is a beach assault map, and that's when I saw him: Storming up from the waves and hitting the blood soaked sands of Utah beach, Gordon Freeman ran past the camera in his HEV, ready to blow up the shingle with TNT and lead his troops to victory. Damn, do I wish I would've been fast enough to press F5 when it happened.

The hidden res tower! The res tower dropped under the res node, but still worked. We actually ended up making two res towers on the same node, but I have no ss, sorry. <a href='http://www.geocities.com/dsclerks/res.html' target='_blank'>Hidden res.</a>
ha, 2 res towers is nothing, ive been on a team (actually causing them to keep coming, comm would drop them on me and theyd sink through, not gonna say how we did it exactly though) we had like 10 res towers there at the end of the game with over 2k res, it was on the redphive.org server on ns_nothing at miasma walkway, try building the rt when a marine is running over it.
oh yeah, i didnt get a pic but... my turret spam record is 73 turrets in one room (redphive.org again) at crash, not to mention the 40+ in marine base, it was south loop on ns_eclipse, with a phase, 1 tf and an rt there.
i do have a pic of some stuff in a map exploit on ns_bast right outside feedwater hive, but i dont feel like converting the 3 meg .bmp to a .jpg or anything right now (or ever)

We were playing on a LAN with a 1.0 server (I forgot the patch.) I was playing the other day on eclipse at redphive.org where I think they had about 30 or so in cargo before it crashed. It was impossible to attack, even with 6 or 7 adrenalined carapaced umbra'd fades. We'd die after slashing their turret factory 2 times, which was near the res tower in there.
Ok I was bored... Recorded some demos... I won't tell you how to play them Im sure you know the routine. They *should* work with NS because it was all done server side. In theory anyway. Use your imagination.
