[mwip] Desert Eagle Mk-iv

<div class="IPBDescription">model 99% done...</div> OK... after taking a break a couple of days I decided to put up the pics on this gun and ask you guys if it is worth contuing to make it.

Also I would need some people to help me with meshing and animating it and probably skinning it to (plz only skinners with experiance in skinning weapons).

Anyway... heres the pics, what do you think?

It should be wide cuz its a deagle thingie... but maby i will make it a little thinner.

the grip is fine you dont want a powerful gun to look like a little kids gun leave everything alone and please finish it looks really nice
you should put it in my little post on the M17S a lot of people are hitting it and it would be smart to put it in there. so some skinners would try and skin it.

Dont feel like working on the model today but I will tweak it (finish the ironsight and align everything right) and make it ready to be meshed tomorrow I think.

-EDIT- Compared the grip to the original Desert Eagle grip and found out that the scale is a perfect match... NO resising if the gun doesent look wierd in the NS hand -EDIT-

its very purdy, buts its missing something. i can't put my finger on what specifically with a name, but in mind it forms the vauge words of "uber-"elite" trademark of the author", like a sort of unique attribute that would really make this model wonderful!

Actually kind of looks like a .357 Baby/Lone Eagle, but square. I rather like it, actually. Might give skinning it a go when it's meshed.

Maby thats cuz its NOT a Deagle as we know it today. It's the fourth generation MK-IV, Mark 4 whatever. Its how I would design a new version of a Deagle = Keep its beefyness and sharp shapes but still change the design.

It has the deagle features with its wierd cut of barrel that splits when a shell is ejecting bla. bla. bla.

Gonna finish it up 100% later today.

And for you who request more detail... well its up to the skinner <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'>

I choose the very hard sharp design so didnt need to use to much polys but still make it look detailed.

add a small box to the front bottom of the barrel to house a laser sight or some futuristic type flair to it - at the moment it doesn't look futuristic it looks like something someone would make today.....

i dont want it to be a swiss army knife or some kind of portable disco machine... I want it to be a army pistol used to shoot fiends with and that can be used even if its get som dust on it.

if your animating it, or who ever is animating it, they have better make it have some uber "elite" hand tricks, like in CS when he does a finger flip thing when he takes it out. this only adds to the bad **** factor, and the deagle always has to have a big bad **** factor.

well prolly the main thing that is throwing people off would be the little to none recoil action this model has, but its prolly not animated yet so i wouldnt worry about it =/ just keep in mind deagle = very very very long when reloading or right after it pumps out a shell

OK! Added the Ironsight and tweaked the model so now its finished!

OK. a comparison between the Desert Eagle .50 and my design of what I think the futur DE should look like... the Desert Eagle MK-IV.

Have in mind that alot of years have passed between this model and it an one purpuse army pistol.
Shoot to kill no disco equipment, made for rough handeling.

at the bottom of the PRESENT desert eagle's hand grip, there is a little part that comes out. i think you should add that to the NEW desert eagle's hand grip too.
