    YES I LOVE watching demos! I get them every chance I get. I also like spectating too, seems odd but its fun just to sit back and watch
    the action every know and then. When doing so I've seen a HA get put down by parasite! ahahahah

    funniest demo ever.
    7 gorges rushing together, first marine that dies says "omg there are aout 20 of them".
    The healing sound all over the room sounds soo funny.

    This heap of gorges cleans everything, no problem with 3 turrets, 10 mines and even a siege.
    A dramatic moment when marines discuss "how to counter a gorge rush" and they say "hmm, GL ... maybe a siege" and RIGHT in that time the cam zooms to a build siege.
    Including perfect gorge-mine-defusing with spit and walking through getting healed.

    open your console (make sure the .dem file is in your ns folder)
    and type playdemo "nameofdem.dem"

    That was pretty cool. I didn't see a whole lot of group heal-spraying though. That seems the most devastating part of multiple gorges - the ones up front are the most likely to get hit, but with 5 guys heal spraying them, and multiple marines getting hurt at the same time (i think that's how it would work...), it seems a lot more effective than some of that spit stuff I was seeing. They were timid little fellas too. Every once in a while one would get brave and run out, but he would be alone and die.

    It seems like it would be more effective if they ran out to the undefended side of the base, heal-spraying their way through the marines and planting their offense chambers there. Anyone have a demo of a more aggressive gorge pack? I'd like to see that in action.

    They were doing a lot more health-spraying initially when they ran through no name. For some reason they switched to using spit once they reached Port (I think that was port). I can understand using spit on the mines, but I think the health-spraying was the more effective of the two attacks. The marines were mercilessly slaughtered when they were health-spraying right off the bat.

    If you can organise it, an invisible gorge rush is even more fun. Everyone goes gorge, build 3 sensory chambers, then the whole pack can just cloak and sit and wait for the marines to come round the corner into a seemingly empty room....

    Yeah, never underestimate the power of gorge rush.

    I have experienced few gorg rushes. Once we had secured eclipse hive pretty well and started to move to another area, when someone shouts that there is a gorge rush coming. Me and one other marine runned like mad back to the eclipse, while the others were just typing "lol". They were like, lets go to computer core, turrets will kill 'em from eclipse......yeah right.....after couple minutes we lost eclipse <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->

    There was actually more than you'd think - unfortunately you can't see the spray (or the health circles) on demos for whatever reason, and you can't hear the heal spray so well over the noise of the turrets and the weeping marines... when the gorges are in the background anyway.

    What we need, is an all-gorge clan

    The ".dem" extension is not needed. It might not even work if you include that.

    I've played with a 3 gorge rush before, and it was effective, I had always wondered what 8 or 10 would be like.
