    thats amazing.

    I'm going to have to agree with Coil here. Lower the polys. If it's a gorge, you don't see many of those, so it <i>might</i> be okay, but I doubt it. Shave some polys.

    For reference's sake, the original Gorge is 972 polys, 524 vertices.

    i don't mind the polys either, cuz i have one beast of a machine. but maybe you should tone it down a bit for the others. i liked the idea of having two versions: high poly and low poly. i also liked the purple one better... kinda sounds homoish but i'm just used to seeing drones have more color than just green... maybe a nice blue would do him good!

    great job on the model, man! keep up the good work!

    I dont think that u should reduce the polygon-count except if its to add more polies
    another place on your model.... Its just fine as it is! As said: Only very rarely ull se more
    than 2-3 gorges on a map so: Polies be damned, as said in one of the upper posts...

    Anybody know how many polies about 50 o chambers, 8 d chambers, 8 sensory chambers, and 8 movement chambers are? Anyway...my fps lowered from 50(usually I get 60, the map had bad r_speeds) to 30 when they were on the screen...I can't wait till my birthday, I'm getting a new video card ^^.
