<div class="IPBDescription">Come and get it</div> Well the model is finally done (see pic at the bottom). The link will only be up for about a week so if anyone wants to host it, please do.

I've fixed all of the clipping the head was doing and most of the clipping of the arms. The skin isn't anything special but it'll do for now (anyone is welcome to reskin it if you like).
There are two versions in the zip. One has his visor up when there's no JP; the other has the visor down all the time. They both use the same JP model.

Some of you might notice that he doesn't have the shoulder lamp. Well I decided to leave that for the heavy version I'm making to help distinguish the two.

If you find any problems with the model let me know.

    like what he said, COPY AND PASTE. the skins on the model is kinda bland. u might wanna ask E & C to skin for ya? lemme try to get the link...

    You have to copy the whole thing, even the SC Marine.zip part, (Make sure the space between SC and Marine is in the linky.)

    I am so gonna reskin this model.

    animation parts that you might want to look at (just for the fanatic perfectionist)


    in run + walk.... check out the difference between how the foot acts when it hits "ground" left foot looks like it's correct in run, and right looks correct in walk... just comething to check out....

    I really don't like the skin.     Question: whenever i try to save the skin as a .bmp then import it into hlmv i get and error saying its the wrong size (not dimensions)

    What do you mean 8-bit? when i go save as in paint all i have is 24bit and 256 colors , 16 colors and monchrome.

    When I try to save as bmp in photoshop I can only choose 16bit. 8bit, 4bit and 1bit are greyed out.

    lol yea I asked around a bit but everyone was busy. So instead of just having it sit on my HD I figured I'll but it out and hopefully someone would take pity on me and reskin it.     Looks great, although lacking detail, it looks cool. I hope someone releases a green skin, to go with the other models. Someone post up screens of it ingame. Got any pictures of the WIP heavy?

    I think the skin looks great. Only thing it's lacking, is some silly decals. Such as, "Your arse here" on the boot and stuff. <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo-->

    Ya know I was going to do that but the decals I planed to use were in higher detail than the skin and made the rest of it look worse <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo--> . I spent over a day trying to spice up the skin but wasn't happy with anything I did so I just left it as you see it. I guess I'm just 2d artistically challenged.

    Also I found out that even though you can have more than 2 skin groups, NS seems to only use the first 2. I originally had it set up so that both the heads used both of the skin colors. It worked fine in the HLMV but in the game it only used the first 2 <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->

    Ok ok I will put smartgun animations on it but what model has the new welder animations? I didn't think that so many people would want the smartgun when Jamil is making a nice gauss gun. Anyway sent me a link to the welder animations and I'll see what I can do..

    oh something you guys might want to know. For some reason my exporter exports an extra bone called sc marine (the name of my mesh). it's not linked to the skel and is safe to delete if you import the model but it might cause problems when blending other animations. I don't know why it does this but it does the same thing to every HL model I export.
