He's starting to get a big poly heavy but since I have a demi-god for computer I should be fine, the rest of you don't matter.* Anyway I've everything bone but the main body now and thats should come shortly. I should be done modeling this weekend and be finished UV mapping and skinning by next weekend. Later.

but its coming out great dude!
My suggestion would be that I've always thought the drone was a bit more squat/fatter - kind of like a land-bound Guardian. As such, if I were doing it, I'd probably make the body wider and the "wings" a little stubbier (but the overall width you've got there is good). But of course, it's your model.
Also... how are you planning on having him move? Does he hover/flap his "wings," or are you going to add legs or equivalent appendages?

As far as the animations go I was gonna try and get him to hover like in game but with kinda a more undulating movement like this.
but since Pvt. Hudson is handling the animation these are all merely suggestions.
just think about it..
my comp aint a über elite machine.. but it can handle some graphics..
tho a model on 4000 polys is just to much..
around 500 polys is nice..
thos guys who just wants polys dont know what they talk about..
sorry to say.. but polys aint nuffin!
go look @ a low poly model that has a nice skin and u will se REALY cool things..

Its a blimp, it has gas to help it float. Why do you think it moves so slowly =P It farts to accelerate hahaha
then you don't have an uber leet machine, that's more than the defaults.... default skulk was about 6-700 poly (i think)
No problem here. I think I have a few 3-5k poly guns running around in CS... Nothing my 128 ddr ram Can't handle (really, I've played 12v12 games with bots with these things and I don't get a wink of lag.) so do whatever. The idle should be like in the portrait where the drone exhausts a load of vespene gas from his mouth... Fun!

1)Wings are still abit thin...
2)The head dosent look anything like in the game
