Computer Area Pictures

<div class="IPBDescription">post them here</div> I thought it would be cool to see what the area around your computer looked like, since it is where we spend most of our time, you can post the picture and a breif description if you want to..

Heres mine, but the image quality aint that good.....

Up top (left to right) there are some games, a chronolegionaire from C&C Red Alert special edition, an empty bottle of Jagermeister, a Jack Daniels shot glass, an Dodge Viper Model (closest I will ever get to owning a real one..) a whirlygig thingy, and some month old unopened mail

In the middle there is a pile of junk, some push pins, prescription painkillers (Roxicet) for my kidney stones, and my printer, and of course pictures of my girlfriend.

On the desk is the basics, keyboard (Logitech internet navigator), headphones, powerstrip, cords, loose change, mouse bungie, mouse (logitech dual optical), heavy monitor (on top is a beanie baby pig), and on the wall is a picture of an ONOS and a map for Earth and Beyond.

On the ground there is the tower, next to that a useless subwoofer (i only use headpnoes now), cords, and on top of the computer my cell phone (Nextel i700 plus)

And then there is the TV, my TV!!

    LOL, might as well be, the quality of the cinder blocks really sets the tone, and if I didn't have a key for the foot thick steel door with a bolt lock, then It might as well be (at least I have 3 rooms, living room, bedroom, and bathroom)

    Oh, I forgot to mention the suicide screens, don't want no depressed college student deciding to trow themself out the 12th story window now...

    Thanks :-) I have a HUUUGE RONIN poster on the other wall
    which I can't be bothered moving.
    And just in-case any of you are wondering, that donkey
    picture is a Postcard from my cousin Garry who is in the Navy.

    Its from Sardegna, which (apparently) is in Sadinia.
    The reverse simply reads:

    <!--QuoteBegin--></span><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td><b>QUOTE</b> </td></tr><tr><td id='QUOTE'><!--QuoteEBegin-->"Pete.
    I saw this and thought of you.
    Garry"<!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->

    Flattery gets you everywhere.

    My room is called a "super double suite w/ bath", it is a non freshman dorm, all the incoming freshmen who do not live in the surrounding 3 counties must live in a dorm there freshman year, and that is the small one room with a bathroom down the hall, it sucked. THe room im in are for upperclassmen, its better, but I still miss a kitchen. The room I am in can be a 2-4 person room, I just have one other person rooming with me. I also have airconditioning (but I never use it).

    Anyhow, here's my desk. It's a little bit bright because there's a window on the right, and the sun is on that side of the house in the mornings.

    Here's the view of the general area:

    <img src='http://www.druhkram.com/comparea2.jpg' border='0' alt='user posted image'>

    It's pretty clean now, but that's the computer desk and my regular desk. The printer and loads of other crap are piled up under the regular desk. On top of the monitor, I have Nightmare the BattleBot that my sister got in a happy meal, and a Terran Marine from Starcraft.

    <img src='http://www.druhkram.com/comparea1.jpg' border='0' alt='user posted image'>

    That's my desk itself - I've got some random flyer for a Mad Caddies show and a Strong Bad coaster on there. That's a Handspring Visor, btw.

    The bottom area is just my standard mess of cables and the empty jewel cases for my software. All the CDs themselves are in the little black case that's standing up in front of the cables.

    It's not usually this messy. I just finished my college quarter, and have had some projects stacking up (literally - check out the desk). I cleaned it up a bit, but this is about what it looks like now.

    Flatline[UTD] how do you cope with your mouse on the left?
    It looks painful <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

    And how do you cope with no leg-room?

    Oh and the fact that I kept smacking my knee on it. <!--emo&:angry:--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/mad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='mad.gif'><!--endemo-->

    I don't have my camera on me, so I can't get a pic of either of my homes' comp areas, but I can nab some tournament pics from the spider gaming website:

    This is one of the oldest pics we have, from the first tournament, before we got the place painted by a hippy (really):
    <img src='http://www.spidergaming.com/photo/DSC04128.jpg' border='0' alt='user posted image'>

    Here's a pic of some people in the server room. No one at Spider plays NS so we let them play on the NS server if it fills up (ungrateful dogs!)
    <img src='http://www.spidergaming.com/photo/DSC04158.jpg' border='0' alt='user posted image'>

    Here's a pic of the front room when after getting paint:
    <img src='http://www.spidergaming.com/photo/DSC04156.jpg' border='0' alt='user posted image'>

    Here's the back room:

    1: I'm left handed. <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->

    2: There's actually quite a bit of leg room when you pull the keyboard/mouse tray out all the way.

    I'm 6 feet tall, and I've still got a good 8 or so inches of clearance between my knees and the cabinet door, so it's not cramped at all, really.

    Flyers from various gigs across the back, keyboard and mouse down the bottom.

    The mess at my 5.25 bays is a hole at the top where my CD drive used to be and a removable hard drive caddy held in place with power tape ^_^

    After several months of not posting I have returned!

    My setup for the moment anyway, that's a 21" CRT, 15" TFT for winamp and 17" CRT for IRC, CD changer under 7.1ch amp, and in the bottom right my large stock of wine <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->. That poster behind with the golf carts is for The Cooper Temple Clause by the way. All of this I have got in the last 5 months working in my gap year before university.
