It all depends on the angle... For instance, from an angle I will <i>not</i> post a pic of here, you will notice where the Heavy Armour's TSA logo ends up. Let's just say that it invites questions regarding the true origin of the logo.
Maybe the knew of the Mechonos, before they were formed, and before they even knew of the Kharaa. Before they had selected their logo. Really, what better logo than one encompassing the full virility of the mightiest creature in the universe?!
Further speculation would be to ask oneself if Mechonos really need a hive. Well, the answer is this: M'ECHAIVAH (Does not come with a free swizz knife), or, as I like to call it for short: MECHA
