Looking for server to test it
Been spending a lot of time on the layout for c17, here's the latest. I'm pretty satisfied with everything above the canyon right about now, but I'm thinking of re-doing the mine shafts and making them a bit less linear. I would very much like to test it out and get a better feel for how it plays, even in its current very-primitive state (hardly any brush and texture work). So if anyone has a server and would like to test it I would be very grateful, just reply or send me a pm. And of course, all comments on the layout are welcome.

It seems like there are awfully lots of open areas...
NS (and HL) isn't actually at its best in open...
Interesting map btw...
can you plz post a screenie from it?
Nope, not even with the current siege ranges.

No but I will be testing it soon thanks to all these people who have offered to run it on their servers The big open rooms in the middle will not be so open once I get to more detailed work on them, they will be full of machinery eventually. The canyon is not accessible to players, just crossed by some enclosed bridges.

Note that these are very early renditions. Mostly just tests for the textures and effects (the engine glow) which I plan to tweak extensively in the future. Also note that, like I said, hardly any of the architecture and stuff has been worked on yet, just some early stuff to remind me what goes where.
For those who dont understand.
He said that was loads of fun testing that map, its freaking huge man.
