Jokes aside, split screen aint coming. 1.0 is out and they wont add any new content as well as they said in the past. No multiplayer

#1.They said no multiplayer of any kind, including co-op.
#2. Subnautica has difficulty running on console hardware(and often pc hardware). Split-screen would only make this worse, as it has to display for 2 different users.
Especially because they have enough lag in the first place, it’s been better since 1.0 on Xbox but still. Even if they set something up to where there would be a loading screen if someone went into somewhere like the lava castle or the Aura that would just look bad.
