I've been playing the game for over 20 hours and this bug has started popping up. There is nothing wrong with my f1 button, I've verified and reinstalled the game multiple times but the bug is still there. i got it when it was free with epic and this didn't happen when i started.

this is risky, but if you update your drivers with driver hub, the bug goes away. it is risky because it can update your drivers so far that you cannot use your usb ports. IF THIS HAPPENS, left click the windows button and open the device manager. from there, you will want to find your usb drivers and roll them back.
also, you want to download geforce experience and update the game ready drivers.
Driver problems are very specific to the systems that use that. If you can provide the version number of the problematic driver, and the specs of your system using Speccy or maybe HWiNFO64, you might be able to save someone else from having the same problem. DriverHub has a section for uninstalling drivers that cause problems.
