  But this is how you edit your comments, deleting on the other hand is only available to admins.

  Used to be you needed to make a certain number of comments before you could edit them. Not sure about the current situation.

  Thanks to you both, I think it must be a matter of waiting til I've commented enough times to unlock editing, the little cogwheel symbol definately isn't there for me yet:)

  Just use this thread to comment a few more times. I guess you need around 15 comments. But hey it could be 50, the UWE forum staff kinda asked for this spam, because this is a spam prevention system that is hurting real members
