My game is crashing every few minutes. I have;

- Verified files
- Reinstalled
- Raised and lowered all graphics settings
- Ran as administrator
- Ran in compatibility modes
- Ran memory tests
- Ran HDD tests

My PC specs exceeds recommended specs. So I am at a loss here.

    Try the latest driver (from Jan 29 of this year) from nVidia, here. Also, I think you need 4GB of VRAM fro max settings, you have 2GB, with 6GB of shared memory, so bear that in mind once you get it running, you might have to play with it a bit.

    If that doesn't work, try uninstalling, and then manually delete the J:\Steam\steamapps\common\Subnautica folder if it exists, and then re-install.

    Do either of those options work?

    My game is crashing every few minutes. I have;

    - Verified files
    - Reinstalled
    - Raised and lowered all graphics settings
    - Ran as administrator
    - Ran in compatibility modes
    - Ran memory tests
    - Ran HDD tests

    I'll see about the driver. I did reinstall windows recently so might be out of date.

    Installed latest drivers, and running game on lowest gfx setting, and low resolution, and still crashing.

    long shot, but:

    Win + X, A
    chkdsk j: /f

    chkdsk c: /f

    dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

    sfc /scannow

    Then restart, after noting any errors. See if that helps at all.

    As I stated in my first and previous post, I have already done disk checking. Besides, the J: drive is filled with my Steam folder, and I have no issues with any other games. If there was a problem with hardware, I would have had issues playing ARK, Civ 6, ESO (games I'm currently playing ) or any number of new games that is far more resource dependent and far more demanding on the system .

    Can you attach the complete output_log.txt somewhere and post a sharing link? (They're usually much longer than the part you posted). Or paste it into PasteBin and post a link to that.

    Oh. And since this fixed someone else's crashing problems just recently, try clearing your cache. (You can try just renaming the CellsCache folder if you want to be able to undo it in case it doesn't work or you want to narrow down the specific CellsCache file causing the problem).

    please look "start<search<event viewer" look for system and applications events and find exactly the time your game crashed what error does it say there?
