Rotation/Rolling in Freeform Swim and Vehicles

I'm pretty new to the game, I bought it last week and have put maybe 25 hours in. It's fantastic, but I wish I could roll around in the water. By this I mean, why can't I use Q and E (or some other mechanic) to roll left or right? Like a free mode camera that can roll 360° in any direction. I thought about rolling around too much, disorienting myself, losing direction and thinking up was down, but the spacebar can still be an auto "swim to surface" button. I feel this would add more immersion to the game also, simulating the feeling that you're actually suspended in the ocean and able to move and roll freely in any direction. It might also help with navigation in tight spaces like inside wrecked ships. Just an idea, and as of now the only thing I could recommend for the game. Like I said, wonderful otherwise.

Surprised this hasn't already been added tbh, I'd love the idea of rotating the seamoth to fit through tiny cave sections!

Not that I think it's not possible, but wouldn't the air cavities in the craft need to move to make it roll? So it's not the same as rotating with thrusters in zero gravity. Do any underwater craft have the ability to roll?

Air is a fluid. Submarines "fly" under the water. They also adjust their buoyancy. Sort of like a dirigible would in the air.

You can make a craft roll with thrusters if the center of mass is on the center of bouyancy, which it seems to be with the seamoth, given that you can pitch up and down and it stays.
